Thanks alaskanzx5 I might just do that

I can recone a sub myself. About a year ago I took 2 12" power acoustic mofos and made one sub. I took the magnet and the motor off of one and j b welded it to the other motor and magnet. I had to wind my own voice coil so it would work. After I was done hooked up to 2 boss 5000w amps. And shattered my back and all my side windows

Not to be a dick, but this did not happen. The only way you broke all your rear windows with that frankensub is if you dropped it on them.

Source: I ran a wall sealed to the B pillar of 4 12inch mofos on 4k rms. It was an actual 4k and not '10,000 boss watts'.

OP, you got to understand that this site has some of the most EPIC car audio build there are, from start to finish. Out of the hundreds I've looked through not a single mention of blowing out multiple windows. Occasionally a windshield, but only because its the weakest link. And we are talking systems with tens of thousands of real watts and multiple 18" subs. So fess up man!

Edited: Damn Autocorrect!
