When your at the top everyone is coming for you, friends, family, haters and even those who don't know you.. my advice.. KILL EM ALL

remember as your box rise increases at tuning freq so does your efficiency at and around that frequency.

sorry to not answer your question but when its hard to breath and your eyeballs are rattling in your skull i couldn't give 2 shits about what box rise i'm getting.

To each thier own.

I had a killer day running the AMM1 up and down my enclosure. It showed me a ton. I learned a great deal. I was also shown how far away i where i THOUGHT i was.

Some dont care to know, some do.

Its not like it the COOL thing to not give a fuck about something you spent 3 months working on.

Not to mention, knowing is a LOT cooler than guessing.

To each their own.

but what did knowing do? it made you pissed off right? the only time rise means anything is one note burps where you need a tenth here or there.

There is no such thing as box rise, it's just a natural impedance curve that is produced by the subwoofer and adjusted a little bit by the enclosure.

A higher impedance isn't always a bad thing, if the impedance curve would be flat it would sound horrible.

It's the least important specification you should look for in a install, unless you are chasing numbers, even then you shouldn't be looking at the lowest impedance unless it's at tuning frequency.

It's all dependant on frequency, since you listen to music you can't say it will be a single number, it changes all the time.

Thinking is the root of all problems...

You ALWAYS get what you pay for.

It's impedance rise, not box rise. It happens to all reactive loads, even when not in a box and even when not connected to an amplifier. The acoustics of your listening environment and the construction of your enclosure are infinitely more important details on which to concentrate... even if you're chasing tenths.

I know it's impedance rise :) And yes I wanna play with an Amm-1 some more.

I only check rise at the frequency I burp at when competeing, everything else is musical and no way to control that.

I rise from being wired at .5 to .86 at my peak of 33hz.

Burp and a musical competition.

Say, a 30 second run, with a door open.

Opening a window or a door, and WHAT door will change your impedance here and there.

FOR THOSE OF US THAT LIKE TO KNOW..... it does help.

It showed me to play THIS song, with THIS door open.

THIS SONG with the door shut.

THIS SONG, if i use blockers.

Again..... its all how deep down the rabbit hole, you wanna go.

Now for those of you that took the blue pill... do your thing.

The rest of us, are gonna keep going. If not, just for something to do, and something more to learn about OUR build.

You fuck with, or dont fuck with yours how you see fit.

Again.. to each there own.
