d-nice88 Posted December 2, 2014 Report Posted December 2, 2014 Any shallow mounts out there that give u nice spl and sq ?
SIDE SHOW Posted December 2, 2014 Report Posted December 2, 2014 i'd say no, shallow subs are usually only recommended when you cant fit a converntional style subwoofer. you will find some sound better than others and some suggest seal boxes and others recommend sealer or ported. for volume i'd go ported and sq i'd go sealed. hope that helped

alaskanzx5 Posted December 2, 2014 Report Posted December 2, 2014 I've heard Memphis, RF, and pioneer shallows. None of them are spl. In fact spl and shallow shouldn't be used together. You can get some good sq from them though. If building your own box try a downfiring sub. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
