She could have let you know it would happen. The whole doctor's note thing is kind of....I don't know, juvenile in my opinion; This isn't elementary school, and you weren't faking sick. Not to mention your paying for the class right? Should be able to leave early or not show up at all if you feel like it. If you still get good grades, fuck does it matter. Only person he's hurting by missing part of the class is himself so if he missed something that he needed to know and it had an effect on his grade that's his problem. She shouldn't be punishing a person for having to excuse themselves. Do you get in trouble at work if you have to leave early for family/ medical reasons? Pretty sure you don't. He is an adult not a child and should be treated as such. This is why I haven't gone to college, if the teachers are anything like the ones I had in high school I'll end up in jail. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
