hoit
I was browsing through good ol e-bay, and I found this deal! Looks pretty hard to pass up. 2 component sets for a hundo! Was curious if anyone else is running these...and their thoughts on them. This is a little under the set I was focusing on...but I can't help but stare at this price...all thoughts and comments I'll take as positive criticism... http://ebay.com/itm/2-sets-PRECISION-POWER-S2-65C-6-5-COMPONENT-SPEAKERS-BY-MAKERS-OF-SOUNDSTREAM-/121152274958?pt=LH_Default_Domain_0&hash=item1c353d020e&vxp=mtr 2007 Chevy Aveo Ls sedan 2 Sundown Xv2 on scv4k @ .5 ohm 2 pair RE XXX 6.5 components on sax200.4 @ 2 ohm Big Three, Three runs 1/0 power from front to back, 1 ground front to back Two runs ground from rear bank to chassis XS power d3100 upfront, 3 Odyssey 2150s in bank Singer 220 amp alt
MrSkippyJ
Personally, I wouldn't pay for anything made by soundstream or precision power these days. Broke_Audio_Addict
Actually some of the ppi sets are getting great reviews and some sq guys are even using them That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. CleanSierra
Personally, I wouldn't pay for anything made by soundstream or precision power these days. A few SQ guys on this very forum are rocking the 3 Way PPI Comp set and claim they are fantastic. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you. Broke_Audio_Addict
They only thing with that 3-way set is you're really going to have place them well if you're going to run passive. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. Skullz
A couple of years ago i got the PPI 3.65's and they sucked big time in all the worst ways possible. No bass whatsoever, not even remotely possible to get to rated power without sounding like complete shit, crossovers that were garbage in every and all respects. I will never touch another set of PPI comps after wasting $350 on that shitty ass set!!!!! 01 Ford focus ZX3 Pioneer AVH-X491BHS PPI PC 4800.2 Morel Maximo 6.5" x2
