Dang man, I step away from the forum for the weekend to do a major brake upgrade, and you've made a month's progress in the same time frame!  Badass, def one of my most anticipated builds to hear at Slam.  Keep that pace up!

Thanks man!!! I just finished the design for my amp and capacitor rack as well as my buss bars. Also had a eureka moment of sorts and came up with a way to mount my positive buss bar so it's insulated. Polyurethanetransmission mounts!

About to head out to pick up some more metal, a mount so I can test out my theory and some more Baltic birch! Jerry will be by in a couple hours to do more fab work and kyle will be here later to get to work on drilling the buss bars!

Here's a time laps of Tuesday's work, unfortunately I didn't get the install of the wall on here:

Also a little teaser of what's to come later today... my subs are currently drying at DC Audio!!!

I'm super stoked!!

Test fitted the cap, didn't quite fit (I measured for 48", figured the box would be low enough that I could squeeze another layer, but forgot about the windows)

Still has at least 2" of clearance on the top. Might have to add some bracing lol

Cut 8 speaker rings for the 8s in the doors with the router and Jerry finished up the Passenger door!

This thing is going to be hella beefy!!

Got the big buss bars started! Going to mount the capacitor buss bars directly to them too!

Transmission mounts will work awesome!

Did a round over on the top of the enclosure but wasn't quite enough clearance for the topper so I took the angle grinder to it. What a freaking mess, I think it should clear now though!

Got the heat shields made for the headers and the new gaskets in too!!

More to come tomorrow!

looking killer man! will you have room for wiper arms after you run all the wires?

I will, I'll be running the wires through the firewall. The wire that's in there is just there to keep it from falling into the header lol

A few more pictures of the beautiful works of art Rusty and his crew of mad scientists over at DC Sound Lab created for me!

Just finished running errands to get stuff for the build all morning and getting back to work.

Here's a bit better picture of the heatshielding. New gaskets are on to, so no more exhaust leak! Very happy with how it turned out.
20170601_002447_zpsaq702suq.jpg

Working on new custom length plug wires and routing them since I found a damaged plug boot from the excessive heat coming off of the headers due to the bad tuning last year.

20170601_145115_zpskudcfuyp.jpg

Also picked up another load of Baltic birch from my wood guy. I had him cut a piece for the port, a piece for the front of the small chamber and 4 pieces to be used for the final door panels. Also grabbed an extra sheet in case I need it.

Going to clean up the garage and get started again. Jerry will be over in about an hour to get to work on the floor brace and passenger seat mount and kyle will be by in about 2 to finish drilling the holes for my buss bars. I'm going to get to work on either the door panels or internals of the enclosure.
