Site updates, upgrades and possible down time. Moving to version 4.1 (Invision) See inside:

Time to upgrade the Invision forum software to version 4.1. It's been a long time since we have done this so don't panic if the site goes down here and there tonight. I hate doing it but these are long needed updates. The site will have fewer skins TODAY but we will be adding more in the next few days (for supporting members). It will have different themes and all sorts of stuff.

The site could go down for as much as an hour (hopefully it won't) Once that is done, If anything you see isn't working, please be nice, and let us know (after the upgrade) here. We will try to address it.

I didn't want to go crazy and make it unrecognizable..it will be new, but similar and familiar. Should have some good features to add later!

@bcpballer64 the site is still updating and migrating everything over to the new version of IPS.

There are over 40 tasks of things needed to be updated, and with over 10 years of content its going to take some time.

You can only dedicate so much processing power to these tasks with out making the forum noticeably slow with too many background processes being done at once.

New themes are coming, it just takes time.

You can see what is being updated, and what hasn't even started to be update yet here.

PS: Did you notice the new tagging feature where you just @"persons name here" ;p

i am stressing out like you wouldn't believe....this is time consuming and a lot of work.  Please be patient with us! We haven't done a major update like this in a while so it takes time to migrate everything over and even longer to make our old familiar settings work again. Some might not....but we are doing our best trust me.
