Stephen
I plan on converting my GMC over to E85 . the fuel is cheaper, its made by farmers in the USA, less emissions, and supposedly better mileage and performance Should only cost about $250 - 400 to convert And if you cant find any e85, you can use regular gas From what ive seen the mileage is WORSE and you have to get oil changes more often. you can cook bacon shirtless if you're not a pussy...lol not hatin, but am i wrong here it looks as if the amp is not grounded its hooked directly to the battery. it that the way it should be. R_Mac_1
Yeah you lose economy with e85. I read an Edmunds article where they did identical trips from San Diego to Vegas and back, one with gas and one with e85. On e85 they got like 25% worse mileage and ended up paying more for the gas despite the cheaper 'per-gallon' price of e85. 2002 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi Pioneer DEH-P6000UB Alpine SPX-17REF 6.5" components (active) Sundown SAX-50.4 Sundown z15 (3 cubes @ 35 hz) Sundown SAX-1200D 2006 Buick Rainier CXL AWD V8 Stock Bose system 12" Alpine Type E in aeroported box Profile AP1000M
CheezyMane13
Mathematically speaking, and physically speaking, if you say only put in like $20 at a time, you should get better mileage cause you are not hauling around that extra weight, but in actuality, how many of us have tanks larger then 30 gallons. I mean a gallon of gas weighs roughly 8lbs, so 30 gallons= 240lbs. And if you say only put in like 10 gallons worth at a time, Your saving like 160lbs. Which is around the average weight of a man, So I say fuck having to get gas every two or three days, and just fill you car up once a week or whenever. I mean the weight of one person isn't that much weight when you have roughly 700-800+lbs of audio equipment and boxes. take baby steps, u cant do it all at once unless u have a roll of 100's big enough to choke a donkey 1998 Chevy Venture "Swagger Wagon" Kenwood Excelon KDC-X994 Headunit 3 15" Alpine Type R's in seperate T-Lines 1 RF T1500-1bd for 2 of the 15s 1 RF P1000-1bd for the single 15 3 sets of Hifonics Zeus ZXi6.5C Components( 1 more set to come for Front stage) 1 Hifonics HFi100.4 4-channel amp Stock alt for now (DC HO SPL 400A when funds come in,currently working on buying this) Stock battery and one Optima Redtop for now (looking at XS batteries) 3 15" Alpine Type R's (aka Swagger Wagon Build 1.0) Swagger Wagon Build 2.0 Youtube Videos
chewie
bullshit if you do mainly highway driving you wont see a notice. but stop and go tight traffic driving you will see a difference between a full tank and a 1/4 tank mpg wise.. also never fill up as a gas station is getting its tanks filled.. it stirs up all kinds of nasty shit.. and the gas is hot.. gas is less dense when its hot. also fill up at night when its cooler out.. 91 dodge colt gt.. 4 custom t600 15s audioque 3500d.1 tuned to 25 hz... stay tuned. blazer stroker 15 brutus bxi2006d terrible voltage drop 145.4@38HZ...
