Chicken called me up and said he wanted to get the Caddy rollin' again. About a year ago, he moved it to his grandpa's house to do some paving or something on his driveway...and out of sight, out of mind, it sat long enough to kill all the batteries, which made it hard to lift, which made it hard to move. With the Batteries @ 1/2 a volt. Yes, i said .5, it was just dead in the water. So to keep the story rolling, About a few months ago, we were going to do this but he got sidetracked and i ended up building him a sick ass computer instead. So they dropped a basic battery from the autoparts store in, just to get it started. The back batts are so low, it has to be KILLING those alternators. It's ok, they are coming out and Mechman's are going in. Barely got enough air in the bags to lift it up and roll it on to the flatbed...SMD HQ bound! Its back! Man, the pics cannot describe this paint job. It is so delicious. In case you didn't notice, i built my systems to LAST. ALL this shit still works. It just needs batteries (not my fault) and some work done to the air ride.... needs some new sway bars too. Everything looks pristine still and all fired right up. BUT, the system is sufferin' needen' some Bufferin' with them dead ass batteries in back. Hey look, a dead Stinger Volt meter! There is a dead one in the back, that came back to life again hahah..... Blue screen of death, typical windows XP - hey my choices were slim back then. Windows Vista just came out and that shit SUCKED too. This was way before Ipads were the rage, they weren't even out yet.

Those walls look smooth as hell though. Almost seems a shame to box em in! Wish I could've been up there Friday to meet you and Anna with Kyle and Laura though. One day soon. That's kind of how this place is now. Someone shows what they got, then people say, oh you should have gotten this or trade it for that. :/ I just ignore those people, if everyone did, they would stop. Self-governance is wonderful but I suppose online where there is no identity such a suggestion is heresy. Excellent component choice anyhow my last big PC build had an original XPower in it, loved that board. Yeah you just ignore those people... but imagine you have 10 times the amount of people telling you what you should do like steve would have. Can see how it could get annoying. Easier to just cut it out from the start. Not arrogance. I can imagine which is precisely why I would have worded it differently, personally. Maybe something like "This is not open to suggestions since I have already decided on the components. I know some of you are also experienced in this field and I thank you for looking." I like Steve's work and I have not met him (unfortunately) he seems like a good guy who gets a bad rep in many places online for comments like that with no real ill intention. Again, the PC is top-knotch and I haven't seen that line of power supply from Corsair yet, gonna have to check them out. Ya right. I could post (what you said) and send cookies, milk, and candy to their front door......and someone would STILL get their feelings hurt. I get a bad rap on some sites because those guys are disrespectful internet cowards with big ass internet mouths. I get a bad rep when i don't take their shit on youtube or anywhere else i see it.
