i'm full of emotions right now. Happy and sad. Especially seeing the thumbnail and seeing my families traits in his face. You guys might not see what i see because you don't know us (other than me on Youtube) but i see it. I knew it was him the second i saw the link. I am basically in shock right now. But in a good way. I will cherish this video clip forever.

My grandfather "Papa" who passed on last year is in a Denny's commercial that just came out...and he never told anyone in the family...nobody. Sorry guys, i am now hearing from my mom that it isn't him. I posted this because i saw it on my Aunt's wall (i was tagged in it) and i believed it... it looks EXACTLY like him, down to the Korea hat and all. I am not sure but believe me i never intended to pull anyone's leg on this subject. Feeling dumb right about now. If it's not him, sorry for this post but still thankful for all vets!! Trust me i would never lie about this if i didn't truly believe it when i saw it. You guys should know i am not like that.

I had a weird feeling it would be this commercial when I read the thread title, crazy. I already thought the commercial was pretty cool, this news makes it even better.

I called XS Power today because the D6500 I have under the hood(about a year old) is really swollen. Doesn't seem to be affecting performance, but I'm concerned from a safety standpoint. I was told that swelling isn't covered under warranty because that usually means there's a ton of resistance inside the battery and it wasn't maintained properly. What I really want to know is, what did I do wrong in maintaining the battery? It's the only battery in my setup, it has been fed by a DC 270xp the whole time... I have about 2200 wrms in my system, and no other aftermarket electrical. I drive the truck every day, I charge high 14's cold and mid 14's when warm, hardly ever wang on it except for an occasional demo, and I never run any electrical with the engine off. Thinking about it, I would be fine with an auto zone battery but, i took faith in the product and Nate was super helpful during the shopping process.

My grandmother passing on a year before that made me sad too because i picture him sitting there by himself all lonely. But the commercial really made it better seeing the people go sit by him. I know it's all scripted but it is believable which is nice I wonder how all this went down, none of us know

My grandfather had an amazing sense of humor that i remember even as a very little kid. I was moved to California at a very young age (5) and didn't get to see him or my grandmother very much at all for the rest of my life. Only a handful of times. He was always funny when i talked to him on the phone over the years. I have the best memories and although i am not religious at all, not even a little, i still say this is a blessing. His sense of humor got us one more time. It's like he knew his time was coming and did the commercial knowing it would pop up on our screen long after he was gone. I am so happy he did too. Funny and very humble of him. I'd have been like "i'm gonna be on TV everyone!" haha

Very nice system for a father and son SMD team. You guys work great together and the out some is very well lade out plan. Tuned end for a video. Some good tight low bass is what I'm thinking you guys got right there. When my dad was alive I dreamed of doing something like this together. Very Jelly in a good way SMD family. Awesome Job Man.

i had one in my ISF swell up on me....turns out it is about 4" from the headers (my v8 is stuffed into my hood). I replaced the battery and got a heat shield for it. Never did it again. My stock battery had a metal case on it...hmmm i am guessing that was important. the only other reason an XS power battery (or any brand) should swell would be it was overcharged. I left the power supply (NOT CHARGER) but straight up power supply on the Tahoe all night long a few years ago when it was in the Palms Casino for CES with Rockford. I didn't mean to leave it on, i just forgot. The batteries were very hot the next morning when i arrived and one was starting to swell. so in my experience, it has happened twice. Both my fault. Sometimes, it just isn't the products fault and you just have to eat it. Sometimes it is. But i don't know about your situation i just know what i have personally been through.

To close to tell. There a guy that picks up at my work that looks like my dad. Some times I want to go up to him and hug him. Nothing wrong with thing about loved ones that have passed away. Time for a beer.

i feel the same way....even if it isn't him, for about 30 minutes i felt his presence and that is a good thing. I really does look EXACTLY like him though. But i know some people on the net lie and make shit up thinking it's funny but i would never do that especially on this subject. But thanks bro.

Not being a dick but if i wanted to use smaller fans or a larger rack, i would have done so. No need for either. I don't need any constructive criticism from you but you but thanks anyway if you truly thought in your mind that i needed it. Other than that, thanks for the rest of the comment
