hey bro, if you know me, i was NEVER handed anything, not even my lift. I spent 25 years on my back, in the gutter, under jacks and jack stands. And get this, ive only owned a real floor jack since like the year 2000 maybe a little earlier than that but not much earlier haha. I have changed trannys using scissor jacks, on my back, in the street more than a few times. I remember having like 5 of them because i hit up the local "pick and pull" and scored some from the wrecking yard. I thought i was rich because i had extra STOCK scissor jacks from those boneyard cars to get my job done. even my very first car blew the tranny and knowing NOTHING i changed it out in the street. Pops didn't want no oil on his driveway. Yes, at 16 i was swapping tranny's and even my engine. It was either that or i had no ride. Nobody gave me shit. I learned though....kids nowadays (i admit, even mine) get to call AAA and have pops help them get it fixed. It's ok i feel like i sacrificed so my kids don't have to suffer like i did. I don't spoil them, i teach them.....but they still got it way easier.

thanks man although i have to admit, i was neurotically thinking about how i was gonna make it work for weeks......but when i put on my work shoes and started working, i did it 100% different than i planned (in my head). All the sudden this idea popped up and it was going to be easier thanks bro!!

Thanks Steve! I've always been a big fan of Second Skin! Their product has never let me down and always makes a very noticeable difference! Hopefully this video can help the community learn how to really improve that mid bass response! The Luxury Liner pro is AWESOME at cutting down the road noise outside of the vehicle so nothing distracts from the audio the speakers create!

Caps store a (electrical) charge. Batteries don't produce electricity (except the first time it's made), they only convert the electrical energy into a chemical reaction that is reversible when a load is attached to the terminals. This is why caps are so much faster, they don't have to undergo a (slow) chemical reaction. Recap... For our voltages: Energy = 0.5 x C x (Vmax^2 - Vmax x Vout) 0.5*433*(15²-15*10)=16237.5Ws which is still pretty good. And heat is quite the enemy of capacitors, so mounting them in the engine bay won't do them good.

Man that looks like a good bit of work, but I bet that is NICE having a lift! I've replaced transmissions and engines on gravel with a floor jack and plywood so I understand the struggle and its very real. haha Clean work as always though man, looks really well thought out. I need to get me one of those torches...

Love the fact that you never half ass anything, everything ALWAYS looks clean and well thought out, never thrown together. Your "making it work" looks better than most people's "neurotically planned out for weeks".

Almost the same setup Ive got Ridetechs in front, RE7 slams on rears, 4 Viair 480s and 8.5 gal tank.

YES -- it does indeed happen. So for those times when it does -- we do our best to take care of it. We send out 1000s of speakers that are 100% perfect -- one thing I have learned in the business is that silence means everyone is happy So you'll hear the most about the few that didn't go perfectly. That is normal, of course, in any business. The crew & I have been working every day to increase production reliability of our products -- it's been a huge learning curve with the new platform. The Mega-Roll is extremely tricky to work with by comparison to older surrounds. In fact... I have been developing a Mega-Roll v.2 primarily for the purpose of increased assembly reliability. We aren't just sitting around passively by any means -- the crew works every day to improve assembly quality and reliability. Every driver that isn't perfect is looked over and learned from. Bottom line, though, doesn't matter how good you are; how many speakers you build; or how much you check it; stuff happens. At that point it comes down to service. We do our best in that regard and I feel most people are very happy. This particular case is one of those "one in a million" scenarios -- but I am glad we were able to resolve it in the end.

I used it in my last car. It only smelled for a day or two. It did help with the rattling. I only used one layer, I think if you double It would hop a lot more. I thought it did good for the price
