im running 3k + a 4 channel on a 90amp alt and 2 g34's and drop to high 11's. I say go for it.

I had a pioneer avh4500 and if you don't mind the bypass shit to play videos while driving it was a good one. The Sony might be easier to bypass the parking brake, don't know though.
