    A Zv3 is capable of taking more power than the average car audio guy's electrical can produce. Seems people are more concerned with stats of the products on the front end then spending money on adequate electrical and the stats on the back end that to me are more important.     I went back last night and watched the video with the 4 crunch amps and from the looks of it the CC-1 does gain match off of the AC voltage from the "master" amp. If you go back and watch you tell the CC-1 to "remember" the output of the master amp. the amps only output AC voltage. The one thing to remember about the CC-1 though is that you have to turn down the volume on the deck since it is voltage sensitive. When you learn the 1st voltage the CC-1 turns the Blue LED on when you reach that Voltage by turning down the other 3 gains. So in essence it is doing the same thing as a DMM except no readout, just the blue LED.

    I'm not sure how the CC-1 does it either. I just use it to set x-over points, never got around to using it for gain matching Ok, heres where I'm loosing it. I'm reading this as even though the voltage output is the same there will be a difference in wattage? I know it's tuff to explain. It's tuff to understand for me right now!! lol

    I'm with you man. I don't use my CC-1 to its full potential that's why I do that part with the DMM. Maybe someone else will chime in with the answer for ya. I'm gonna spend some time on the bench with the cc-1 when I can to learn all it's uses. Down and dirty though, bust out the dmm if you have too.

    When I gain match I use the DD-1 to gain set, my cc-1 (when needed) to x-over set, and them my DMMto bring the amps down to whatever voltage I want them at. If one is ay at 56 volts and the other at 59 I'll just bring them both down to 55 and call it a wrap. I play everything on the safe side though

    You know how your not suppose to do some things a certain way yet find yourself doing them that way again to remind you why it's teh wrong way? I gues I'm trying to say don't cut MDF in the basement with your jasper jig and router no matter how cold or dark it is outside. Not a good idea. No I didnt have the vaccum hooked up either.

    I wont be doing any drag racing but my test board will be complete within the next two weeks. On the cool side of testing will be a rare Fosgate Power Series 25x2 (DSM Model) along with the 50m some PPI and Soundstream
