  1. Maybe it's a signal processing error?
  2. I suck with cut sheets, but there's loads of people here that have mastered it. A lot of people recommend Torres box calculator, it's linked in a sticky here in the sub/enclosure section. Read up in that thread and in the programs help file
  3. Sounds like just enough air space for those 15's. You might not have the absolute best lows as they can, but better than the sealed enclosure. You'll probably like it best facing rear, unless you want to seal off the trunk. Good luck man!
  4. I think he mostly wants reviews on them lol I do too.
  5. I'm the unfortunate owner of a not-so-boss amp, and I approve the above message. I told my friend I had a crappy 4 channel, he asked the brand. Told him it was a boss amp, and he told me about how boss isn't meant to get loud it's meant for clarity. :/
  6. Inverting your subs gives you a little more airspace, and in turn lowers the tuning, and increases the efficiency. But only by a smidgen, unless you have something with a freeking 80 pount motor or something lol. It might sound slightly deeper, and maybe a tiny bit louder, but the lower tuning might cancel the little bit of efficiency you'll gain. But pretty much, it wont change much, and if it does, it'll either be barely noticed or not noticeable at all.
  7. No problem! Good luck with the build, post a build log!
  8. With just wood, not to much. Maybe $100? Maybe a bit more if you fiberglass. Get a sheet of MDF you might need two but see what you can do with one, some wooden dowels, and I like to use the level 3 titebond, you'll probably only need one medium bottle, get a bigger bottle or two smaller ones if you want to make sure. You'll probably just need 2 16" wooden dowels suppotring the top and bottom at the center of the enclosure. I got my carpet from Partsexpress, along with the spray adhesive from there. If it's taking up most of your trunk maybe face it forward and if you want seal the trunk off from the cabin? If you don't want to seal off the trunk, try the enclosure facing forwards and then backwards and see which sounds better to you.
  9. Sealed are the most simple enclosures. It's literally just a sealed box. Build the box well braced, maybe fiberglass the inside, and you should be set. Is it going into a trunk?
  10. Suhweet, keep us posted! Hoping my bonus I'm getting in a few weeks can cover the preorder for an 125.4!
  11. Only use a cap if your electrical is already up to or past par and you want to help even out your voltage spikes. A battery close to your amp would eliminate the need for a cap. Only if your electrical is up to par and all in the front, and you want to even out the voltage drops from the wire going all the way to the back, mostly for SQ purposes, should you really use a cap. Otherwise the cap is just an unnecessary draw adding more strain to an already strained electrical.
  12. Did you try a 6th order NON-isobaric enclosure? Or is there not enough room? I think you'd like the non-isobaric more than the isobaric.
  13. Under the video title... UPDATE : He's alive in hospital with broken leg, other guy without injures Surprised that noone got more severely hurt, or died.
  14. A mod deleted that guys message and replaced it with that, for him, not you.
  15. You got a build log? Make one and keep us posted!
  16. That's what I was thinking. Although the weight of it would probably make it too heavy to be practical for a daily setup.
  17. You can get Hertz from local dealers, and I know woofersetc.com sells some
  18. Super tweeters are very sensitive, they don't take much power to get loud. They will be getting the same amount of power each on separate channels, but you'll get stereo imaging out of them, instead of mono being on one channel. And yes, the 6.5's replace the 6x9's. You could do 8", or 10" if you wanted, you'll have to do some modifications to your doors though.
  19. I think: Use channel 1 and 2 for the supertweeters, and get 4 crescendo/AQ/sundown/silenium PA 6.5s. Ditch the 3.5s and maybe mount your supertweets there.
  20. If mounting depth is an issue, I'd get the Sundown SD-2 Series, and make it work: http://sundownaudio.com/index.php/products/subwoofers/item/sd-series.html?category_id=2
  21. No Vs Threads. All 4 would be good choices. But personally, I'd go with the Sundown over the 4. The Incriminator is probably the best value over the other 3.
