  1. you need to know how efficient that aq is at .5 ohm 14volts x 250 amps = 3500 watts but that aq is prb only 50-60 % efficient at .5 ohm so your back down to around 1800 watts so 1800 watts / 12 volts, since your alt isn't keeping up we will say 12, plus its always better to have extra so 1800/12=150 amps you need to make up with batteries
  2. with 2 dual 2 ohm woofers you can either do each woofer 1 or 4 ohm or both at 2 ohm what amp did you buy? ahh ninjad again http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/woofer_wizard.asp its an awesome tool
  3. Thats a huge power increase, they won't be twice as loud on that much power but i'm sure you'll definitely notice a difference, can those dd handle that power?
  4. It does ad more load for your alt to charge since its keeping up to batteries, but its always better for the batteries and for your amps If you don't have a second battery you can really kill your first one
  5. that box looks pretty smooth to have only used a skill saw. Still wanna know how you did those circles with a skill saw?
  6. By black ops i guess you mean cod black ops, and if you have to then you should trade, bc that game won't be worth 20 bucks in 1 year
  7. if they are grounding out or touching than yes. or at least throw it into protect or blow a fuse. Also some headunits require the antenna to be plugged in, idk if this acts as an extra ground or what.
  8. I guess I might be willing to dish out 100 to 200 dollars to have all that done, but thats just me, i have no idea how much time you have in doing this so thats just a number i would be willing to part with.
  9. pull the head unit out and go to the battery, put the red and yellow on the pos and the black on the neg. see if you get power their, and check the fuse on the back of the headunit while your at it, just in case
  10. but hey, i have a cool push button start, i know guys who put those in their car just bc they think its cool.
  11. I have a mk3 jetta that had pretty bad electrical problems after my oversized battery hit the hood. Eventually i had to straight wire the starter to a 30 amp switch and bypassed the starter switch in the column. You may need to do the same. Bottom line is that the alarm is finicky. I'm no mechanic so this is just what the guy told me to do. Other than getting a new alarm and such.
  12. I can see some weatherstripping needing to be replaced before the weeks out
  13. you guys are wasting valuable space on the internet arguing.
  14. go to advance or a parts store and find one with the right threads
