Today while driving around, the face on my Alpine CDA-9856 died. It first froze for a second, then went black and won't respond to any input. It is still playing music but won't show anything or respond to any input at all. I'm stumped on what to do and haven't seen this before. It came back on for 3-4 seconds later in the day but went black right after. It's been fine for 3+ years and the wiring is fine. I'm trying to figure out this problem and if anyone else has seen it before.

Sounds like a theft but if that doesn't bother you (since you won't ever really know) buy it. My problem would be, no plug = no test to see if it works.

What the hell was the point of that video? The music.... it's in my brain... and won't stop looping!

What kind of port? An aero tube is totally fine and I guess a slot port would still work but I've never really seen that.

That's under 170 miles a month so yeah that's not high at all. I have friends that drive 200+ a week Maintinence and records make it easy to keep track of the care and condition.

Ya that can be a good trick. My favorite is taking a desktop screen shot and making it the background. Then I hide icons and taskbar so it seems like the screen is frozen ha ha.

Ya should work fine. Might take a little creativity to get right but it's been done. Some people even just use the struts from a junk hood... or a stick and take the bars out all together.

Agreed that Brookins has it pretty well but my big surprise was the Nam Phan fight. Nam vs Lenard Garcia is going to be damn good.

They do look nice but are hell on other drivers in those standard housings. Let us know how they hold up, I got screwed with some eBay $40 kits, both kits had one balast burn up.

Did he know what he was doing? Seems like you could have damaged the computer. Also have you checked the fuses under the dash and hood?

Was $49.99 and with holiday sale now $1.99? That is a strange price change. I've done this before with car parts for a guy in Aus so I guess if you can't figure out another way, and this is really what you want, I can help, let me know.

Man that thing seems pretty damn loud, good work. Scores to back it up always help but it just looks loud ha ha. Any pics of the amps or did I miss that?

I've seen a picture fall off the wall and break but the guy just thought it was cool that my friends dbz could do that ha ha. Good work on paying her out but if it was my store I would have just given you props for it.
