  1. Qts is a derived value. 1/Qts = 1/Qms + 1/Qes With that said..... You're correct on there being a discrepancy. Wonder if they pulled values at different times during lab testing or under different conditions (breather hole covered vs. open). If you need accurate values, might be worth your time to free air the things for 2-3 days to get the suspension in steady state, then pull parameters yourself.
  2. I'm sorry you've had such a poor experience. But this forum is geared more to sales / trades with other SMD members. Not for airing your grievances against some random etailer you found on facebook. This would be best handled through paypal / your credit card company. There is nothing we can do here based on word of mouth from a new member against someone who doesn't have a presence here on SMD.
  3. Hey booboo Still around. Lurk more than post though. Trying to maintain sanity in the midst of everyone's shitty behavior during covid. Built a PC, can't find a graphics card for the fucker hah
  4. Happy thanksgiving all!!

      Go fuck yourself.... :)

  5. I would be surprised if that fried it. It's just a DC reference signal. Same as you'd get on the 'positive' side with the volume down. Toss a new battery in, make sure your cord is plugged in all the way. Try measuring again either on the deck, or pick an arbitrary low volume setting on the deck and check at the amp.
  6. Depends if you need the extra voltage capability or feature set the dd-1+ offers. tl;dr, dd-1+ does 200v amps, real time display of gain overlap and voltage. dd-1 is binary on/off and depends on different amplitude sine wave files to set gain to what you want. Realistically, dd-1+ should do you well unless you're working with tremendously large or strapped amps. The other features of a dd-1+ are I think more suited for a shop environment (makes documentation easy, no going through lots of tracks, etc) or someone who's always tinkering with their system.
  7. 1. Stop keyboard yelling. We are a public forum. A tantrum is more apt to be ignored. No one wants to carry on a conversation with an angry man-child. This goes for all your posts. We are not your enemy. 2. Lest it be forgotten, we are still in the middle of an epidemic, economic crisis, and social unrest. Many still work from home. Sundown may or may not be there to answer phones. Email continues to be the best route of communication in these times. --- all points below need to be answered. If you skip one because you don't feel like answering it, I'll skip the thread because I don't feel like helping --- 3. Shitty is subjective. Describe in clear, concise detail, what your issues are. Re-state them clearly. 4. What are the specs on your box? 36hz tells little. Post measurements, 3d models, pictures, etc. Give us enough information that someone could build a 1:1 copy of your box. 5. How is the box mounted in your vehicle? 6. What vehicle do you have? Do you maintain the original radio, or have you installed an aftermarket unit? 7. How is the LOC installed? Give enough information here that if given the same vehicle, I could replicate your install here down to the smallest detail, including any settings on your LOC. 8. What method, if any, did you use to set your gain and crossovers, and how was this validated? 9. What are you using for wiring, and how is this done? Have you verified any voltages? 10. What steps, if any, have you taken for diagnosis of your issue?
  8. It occurs to me I can poke my efforts here too. If you're in the medical field, or know of anyone who is, and need face shields / ear savers / other items, please contact me

  9. Upload to youtube and post here How did you set the max level for both your deck and amp?
  10. What do you suppose happens if you have an amp powering a driver with a short that has a 0 ohm resistance?
  11. If it will help is dependent on if that's the problem. Give the drivers it's powering an inspection too. Make sure a tinsel didn't pop off or cross somewhere
  12. Speaker wire shorting out anywhere? What about power wire? Frayed ends coming out?
  13. What's a free / easy to use 3d modeling software suitable for use w/ basic 3d printing tasks?

Been messing with it. The thing is a bit fussy to use and the cloud aspect of it can be extremely frustrating - seems to have a lot of down time. But it works well enough

yes it took me some time but after a few models and trial and error its a nice program

  14. You do not - can load the tones onto any medium you wish. If you play via bluetooth, set things while playing through bluetooth, etc. There's a link to the original tones in my sig along with some 2.5db increments
