Personally I would do comps in all doors and what is your budget like for 2 pairs of speakers? I am a stickler for matching equipment so if you can go all MTX I would honestly go all MTX. If you have a good budget then you can go with a higher end comp set up. 2-way set up is good but a 3 way in the front and 2 way in the back would be a nice look.

How are you liking that amp? I'm thinking for my purposes, it seems like a good option, especially at that price. I'm leaning heavily towards the new 6.5 component set Skar is coming out with, if and when I upgrade my speakers. Does it put out a true 100 RMS? Or is it overrated any? I'm just a little skeptical about this brand lol but its sooo tempting for the price! Definitely does rated at the very least, sounds great and a very solid performer. The better lines are the Reference, Tarantula, D Tower and X. Though out of my price range the Reference is my absolute favorite all around solid performer and Soundstream is under new ownership so they are revamping the line it isn't so cheap and flea market anymore. The D Tower and X are just out of price range and the Tarantula series is to "blingy" and cheap looking for my tastes. I would personally stay away from the Picasso series if you can, not the best of the Soundstream and it lacks quality. The few I have installed and seen used heat up too hot to touch. I have an older Reference 405 that's being used in my Tahoe right now. As far as the Rubicons go they do what they say they do. I have the Rubicon 4.600 and 2 1.2500's no complaints over here. I have the 4.600 as well trying to get ahold of another and yeah $150 is about the price you will pay new. I managed to find one new for $120 on ebay but for a budget amp it looks stout. As for the new Crescendo amp if you're looking for quality sound and power at a good price you won't beat that with Crescendo.

When do you guys plan on restocking the mp speakers? To the OP's question I would suggest super tweets but only 2 should be necessary for you and go with the crescendo ft1 if you plan on runningrestocking their mids and highs they don't make the xst2 anymore the ft1 are the replacement. Is there a place where I can see info on their new stuff. Or do I have to Send a PM or email to know more? I already have their email, because I asked about the BC amp line a while ago, but i was wondering if its posted somewhere. Yeah Caco in their crescendo section all the info is posted there for all the new gear and the specs for evertlything with pics.

Your local window place should sell it. I go to a place that sells windows for houses called Window Mart they have everything I need she using plexi. Not sure if Home Depot or Lowes has it.

I would run it just like this, very simple very clean and should sound good in the end. 4 Channel Amp - 50w x 4 @ 4 and 100w x 4 @ 2 Channels 1 & 2 - Supertweets mount them where the 3.5's on the dash are mounted now. Ditch the 3.5's because they would be pointless with your supertweets picking up the highs. Channels 3 & 4 - 6" Selenium Mids. Run it this way until you can get the funds for the 8" seleniums then you can run it then you would run it like this Channel 3 - 6" Seleniums Channel 4 - 8" Seleniums Doing it like this in the end will give you a nice blend of highs, mid range and mid bass. Running Supertweets and PA speakers require less power to get loud. I wouldn't run the by 9's or 3.5's at all. If you absolutely must, then run the by 9's but definitely scrap the idea to use the 3.5's at all and just put the supertweeters there.

I am in an HOA as well and it can be be a bish sometimes but the sound proofing idea might be your best bet. My neighbors are so close I can understand hearing a power tool late at night can be annoying so I usually do all my work before the sun goes down. You need to make sure you know your rights though because some people have nothing better to do but nick pick at every little thing. I had a neighbor once report my dog because he "looks" like a pitbull. You can't choose the people you live near but you can damn sure make life easier. I made friends, am very polite and I tend to try not to be the annoying neighbor as much as possible.
