  4. Ray, so can this tool can tell me the necessary specs for a set of components? or is it just for the lowest crossover point they will be happy with? I bought some RE xxx6.5 comps and the manufacturer doesn't provided the ts parameters.

  7. it means you're gona get bant!.... lol na, if you're talking about the warning points that means a mod gave you a warning for acting stupid/rent-a-mod...etc. *edit. I guess its not what im talking about.
  8. I think i am more confused now. Is what you are saying is that the "Q" factor is a way of saying crossover slope? like -12db, -18db, -24db. Like the "Bass" level at +3 with a "Q" of 2.0 would boost a wider range of frequencies off center than a "Q" of .75? No I don't think it has to do with the slope. Ok, say you set your bass frequency at 40 hertz and put the q factor at 0.75 the bandwidth will extended at both sides a certain amount of frequencies. So putting in a bigger q factor (like 2.0 or w/e) extends the bandwidth at both sides even more than the 0.75. Example. Bass frequency at 40 q factor at 0.75 the bandwidth would be approximately 35-45 with 40 being the center frequency. Raising the q factor to 1.0 will allow it to play from 30-50. 1.25 will extend it to 25-55.... And so on and so on.
  9. To my understanding each number means how wide or narrow of a bandwidth you want the desired component to play. 0.75 being the smallest and 2.0 being the biggest.
  10. Check to see if ur amp has a 2channel/4channel switch. Usually most of the 4ch have them. If it does just switch it to the 2ch side and all four channels will play. you only have to run one set of rcas to accomplish this. You ninjad me while I was replying. well if you do what I Said and get those splitters it will work.
  11. Omg that is so fukin sexy.. My all time favorite car. You have a wonderful clean car man, I'm jealous and tuned in for this build.
  12. Seems like you might not have enough port area fOr the subs. Shitty prefab boxes tend to be tuned with little port area.
  13. Have you read this thread yet?? It can help you design one. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/1828-quarter-wave-t-line-tutorial-updated/

  16. You should do a review on the cwm 6.5. I've been looking at those and wondered if they were good.
