  1. Damn you FL and your rain! Especially when I was on such a motivated streak to get this wall done :(

I'm in polk county at the moment, these clouds are looking like I'll get everything plugged in and ready then have to immediately put it away...rain rain go away!

      Tecomah

Nice to see some Florida bassheads.

  2. Wasn't scheduled yesterday. Somebody ended up giving me $30 to take their shift, then I got another 20 to stay and close. Took 36 deliveries and made 182 on top of that 50. Happy Valentine's Day to myself!

  3. So. Much. Money. Spent. At least I shouldn't have to worry about anything else for a LONG time

Oh jesus, that sounds so close lol. Got around to working on some stuff today at least, gonna be a long road

  4. So did you guys know that it's actually beneficial to the life of your computer to clean the screen from the inside? My IT buddy showed me how to clean it, check it out: http://www.formation-massage-stage.fr//outils/nettoyeurecran/cleanscreen.swf

  5. Decisions decisions...those LVL 6 18s are looking pretty good and say 4500 RMS a piece. Would require same airspace for 2 as it would for the 4 12" Zcons I was planning (already have 2) and would fit with my DC9k just as perfectly. Just wish I could hear LVL 6s in person to make a judgement call :/

If only I hadn't seen the 10% off for first 100 SHCA orders I would not be in this predicament haha

A team mate is doing a 156 sealed at 28hz with a pair. Sounded very good if I do say so myself

Was that the 6th order I saw on YT? Tried looking up some vids and didn't see as much as I'd hope. Realized I don't have funds atm for them anyways, need the money for batts for now

  6. That time of the semester for group projects to start being due...oh joy. One more semester...

  7. Rear view cameras? Any people with walls here have one? Would be a lot more visibility than a square foot of plexi in the rear of the wall through 5% tint...

      Jessica

No camera, I don't even care.

      ChevyBoy95

dont need them really. the mirrors on my truck can peek around the sides of the bed a bit. If you get the little globe looking mirror add on you can see pretty much everything.

Would rather be safe than sorry but I don't even know the first thing about these cameras :/

  8. 18 cubic feet gross to work with inside of the shell. Hmm...

Keep in mind this is just the air space inside of the shell. No woofer or wood volume for the actual "box" is being taken into account. Plan for now is 2 more 12 inch Zcons but I've also been looking at Team Fi 15s LOL

Don't know if I've got enough space for two of those big boy subs Kyle...let's be realistic here. Was thinking a pair of PWX6s?

  9. Sundays are so sad these days without Breaking Bad...going to bed an unsatisfied man lol

  11. Florida's starting to get some pretty nice weather. Good time of the year to start working on rebuilding!

  12. Saved up the past couple weeks and bought a DC Power Alt. Few more weeks and I should have enough for 5 or 6 group 31s. Finally doing it right

Group 31 battery are the trick , well for my system. Delete this if you find this to be trolling sir.

      Sergeant_Skyrim

No, you're good bro! I'm just really excited to actually have a HO alt and still be able to have a functional electrical system at idle lol

  13. Applied first bit of the US Composites Duraglas just now. Tried going too big and didn't get it all on before it hardened, but the bit I did get on worked pretty good. Plenty left to learn I suppose!

  14. Just my luck. Go to resin the first coat for my door panel and right when I get done and go to set it in the sun to dry it starts sprinkling. At least there aren't any wrinkles this time!

  15. Going to check out some batteries at Square Deal tomorrow morning I think. Just wish I had some music in the car to enjoy the nice ride, but electrical comes first!

  16. Stretching spandex over the door panel pre-resin...so many wrinkles and it keeps trying to shrink back to its original state. Frustrated lol

      Jessica

The more wrinkles the more body filler you will need later. Plus it will be harder to get the chop mat layed down without air pockets too.

    3. n8ball2013

      n8ball2013

its less work when you get to sanding and filling etc. Good luck with the wrinkles. If you are getting them you are trying to stretch over too much of a span. Try filling it with floral foam or something so that the spandex lays on it basically.

Gotchya. I'm going back over some of the spots now and it's getting a little better. I think I was rushing it too much at first. Appreciate the help gentlemen!

  17. Trying to cram 4 PWX 6s in the door of a Cavalier. Damn seat cushion all up in the way LOL. Once I get this done tho, it's time for some glassin'!

  18. Finishing up 3rd and 4th speaker ring for driver's door today. Goal: Figure out where I want to put all 4 and have them mounted by end of day! And study for classes somewhere in there

  19. Really need to go to bed to sit in an Astronomy class in the morning...but SMD

  20. When you can't find that one fking tool (window crank remover) and you literally clean out your car, your room, and still no luck. Jesus christ, I see that damn thing everywhere and the one time I need it can't find it. /rant

It's probably behind your seats like all of those other things you couldn't find a few weeks ago.

  21. What an awesome day...traded in my voltmeter and still waiting on the VM-1 so I don't have one in. Pretty sure either my Interstate or my XP3000 has taken a crap on me and there was no way to tell til it was too late. Timing is such a bitch...

  22. 7 packages coming in the mail. Can't wait!

  23. Sealing the edges of a wall in a 4dr car where the wall doesn't quite come up to the B-pillar and there's a gap on front of back doors. How do I seal it and make it look good?

    1. Sergeant_Skyrim

      Sergeant_Skyrim

Forgot to mention I need it to be removable from inside the cabin so I can still unlock my back doors manually. No automatic locks :/

    2. Amart88

      Amart88

Make MDF trim panels to go around the wall. Use some peel and stick weather stripping on the edges.

  24. Just ordered a Jasper Circle Jig 200, long overdue lol. Least I'll have perfect circles for my door pods/speaker rings!

Yeah. I have the 200. ONe of my best investments. They are a little flimsy-ish when the router is attached though.
