    Mechman i think its really cool that you are donating some of your proceeds to this. I can tell you from personal experience that Addis is one of the nicer places in Ethiopia and it is still [emotionally] difficult to walk through there. Clean water is probably one of the most precious things around. actually finding anything that is what an American would generally consider sanitary is difficult to find. To put the economy into perspective for people the $30 that gets donated is roughly 535 birr. Week in a nice hotel,meals,drinks,cigarettes,and water i spen 1500 birr. (beer was 16 birr which is about $.85 gotta love that) Your $30 really goes a long way, especially if it is going to a hard working family.

      thats exactly  why im reconsidering. if i get the escealade or tahoe it would be a project vehicle so it wouldnt be a daily  driver my civic would still be my daily.

      im not super worried about gas  i need to fill the tank either way but  i it would be nice to have  a  car that doesnt limit my  imagination and that i dont have to worry about  driving every day

    the difference really is preference. the different browsers are all just coded a little differently and read pages a little differently. its liek whats the difference between a toyota corolla and a honda civic. both are designed to do the same thing they are just built a little differently.

      stock alt with a shit ton of batts lol i know a guy that built a bracket that fit a 300 amp iraggi alt on there as a second alt im trying to get it from him but thats for older civics without the AC

      Check Ohio Gen. Talked to them today and they offered a 160a and a 280 for mine. Or go Alpine's route and fan up a bracket. It almost seems more convenient for a huge alt in our tiny ass cars

      I didnt feel like busting down half a G for an alt, at least now anyway. Took off my Power steering, grabbed a second honda alternator, and i have now 2 stock honda alts on my car.

      If you can't get a exact fit alternator, I'd just get a GM large case, and put it on there. Assuming you dont need your a/c or anything, lol. My car never came with it, so yeah.

    try to focus on anywhere you are going to get metal on metal contact and parts that are flimsy and will vibrate easy. a heat gun/hair dryer will make the material a bit more plyable and easier to work with but isnt always needed. use a roller to press it all down so you will get full contact with the metal.

    I would imagine that this is the exact reason why you are one of the vendors here on the forum. not only do you guys go through all the work of building the woofers for us but you also back them up and offer support (and knowledge) to those using them. Way to go Rusty, now im definitely glad im going with DC Audio.

      Dude deployment is great, well the first one is gonna suck but after you see your bank account its not that bad.
