Supercharged DCs
My DD3515 is made in the US But in all seriousness, I buy food that's cooked in the deli at my workplace. Bassless once again. inm
Not buying Chinese products wouldn't affect China at all... All of America's money already goes to China, seeing as we're in debt out the ass to them. skittlesRgood
the only dumb part about that email is the 1 month goal. it should be a constant goal to buy american products whenever you can. sure, you wont find a TV or most electronics but plenty of other items are made in america. buying cheap chinese products because money is tight, is not what will save our economy. spend money on US soil and it will come back to you through a US job. If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood. Mosin
I'll buy whatevers cheaper. Most of the time its Chinese goods. Which doesn't bother me one bit. I don't think buying a .79 can of pears(american) over .49 pears(chinese) is gonna make a diff. at all. I mean most televisions, game consoles, comp im typing on, my dinc, blah blah blah is all Chinese. IMO someone is wayyy to pro-America. Derp. Second Skin Rep Jon
Personally, I prefer to support the United States economy whenever possible. I prefer to purchase and spend more on products that I think are of higher quality, that tend to last four or five times longer. I prefer NOT to have goods that may not conform to CPSC's standards. I prefer NOT to support the continuation of poor business practices that seem to always result in slave and/or child labor! So yes, I will buy American whenever possible. korey_hofer
I don't buy american ''made'' stuff because it's made someplace else and cheaply previously known as wenn_du_weinst aka fucking internet coward supreme. HHR Ed
There is a nice restaurant here in Philly that actually grows and makes its own food. They have a garden outside and a small farm a few miles away, and the ingredients on the menu all come from there. There may be a few items that they do not grow themselves, but they say they come from neighboring farms. There is also a few grocery stores that follow that same model. All local foods and good from the surrounding region. The food is actually healthier too. photochrisb931
I enjoyed the read and agree with skittlesRgood, the only way to make a difference is to make it a part of your everyday life. I am a member of the FB group shop local think local. By trading with locally owned businesses and purchasing primarily American made products you can boost the local economy and the national economy at the same time. Yes it costs a few cents more but I get a feeling of pride and ties to my community from practicing this consumer theory. The downside it is hard to find a local business opened at 2am when you need munchies and find the pantry bare of snack food. But it is worth the wait to patron your neighbors store to stock up the next day. Barstad
