Loudest trunk car?

bassrace

Recommended Posts

Every car is different......Size, how it lets sound into the cabin. What frequency range you want, one note wonder to chase a number, or low end, musical?

My 2 DD 1508's on 700watts do a 140 in my EVO, lol.

there is a world of difference between your box facing the cabin and being sealed firing forward. given if he isnt sealed he is still utilizing the airspace in the trunk, which is everyones argument of a 'trunk setup'. and im hardly being an asshole. he meets the requirements you set forth. if pointing that out makes me an asshole, im over it

Yes I did but I was only posting the official world record score for loudest trunk.

And you should have probably thought about changing your thread title to "Loudest trunk car FOR SUBS FACING REAR". I was just letting you know the world record for Trunk class. If someone else knows what the loudest official listed REAR FACING trunk score is or where they hold "Trunk 3601 Watts-Up - REAR FACING ONLY" please post that for the OP.

i did a 147.1 with everything facing back, 100% of the equipment in the trunk

guy i compete with though, in his pontiac G6 last year, everything facing back 2 10s did a 151 with 100% of equipment in the trunk

Ported through the rear deck? I wanna raise the bs flag but I don't wanna be an ass about it, just a 51 out of a trunk with 2 10's facing the rear just doesn't sound right to me. Any pics? Competitors stats?

not ported through the rear deck, and i'd show competitor stats if the TNESPL website didnt only show individual shows, they dont do it as a specific person like termpro or w/e it is, over 100 shows i'd have to search through..... the exact score was a 150.6 not a 151 (i just asked him)

edit:

first one i found, not the 150.6, i dont have time to look through archives through each and every show form last year, still shows he did over a 150 however

http://www.teamnortheastspl.com/?page_ID=5&event_ID=91 name was john brood running woofer cooker 1 class, which WC1 is limited to 5kw and 180sq" of cone area (ie. 2 10s) which they were actually thorshammer's old audioque 10s

he runs a ford escape now though, and is actually hitting lower

I did a 141+ with 2 RE Audio - SE 12" and an XT2000Dev2 in mt Sebring, and I did a 144+ with my 1 RE Audio 10" SE and my MA Audio Com 1. But with the 10" setup the sub failed the day after I had it metered.

I will give this info as to the high numbers, both were done on an Audio Control Meter. And the one that was at 145 I trust more because they are a private shop here in the Houston Area that does a lot of custom work and have been around a long time before the TL meters got popular.

I do know the AC Meter is not as accurate as the TL but its only off a little from what I have been told by several people. Hope this helps you out. I know its not the loudest but it is and was in my neighborhood LOL....

I wish I had the pics to back up my post but I haven't had the phone they were on in a couple years.
