OrionStang
Probably his box. I blew my cone apart with a 26hz tone full tilt. Discovered the coil had been rubbing when we tore it down. Coil rub was not a factor in its death, I don't think. Quote SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread

ChevyBoy95
Ohh and a 49 on what freq? edit: and that coil looks brand new. You didnt blow the coil, you would have a birds nest of wires or it would be black. You either ripped tinsel leads or something. Ripped tensil or a ripped joint on the solder between the coil and tensil. Quote How do the Japanese feel about bass? You know that since 03/11/11 Progene? I just saw that stuff on CNN. kickass audio
That coil looks just like my SMD did after i burnt all 4 of the tinsel leads on it. The coil is perfect on my smd with maybe 2 or 3 tiny areas where it rubbed but my pole piece isnt fully centered in the motor but its not bad where it is now. I ripped the SMD out and bypassed the tinsel leads and my coil still reads as dual 1 (real readings are .7 per coil when i did it). Im thinking to use that coil on something in the future.
