if you were gonna ruin the amp and void the warranty, might as well put 4 holes in it and make it all even instead of one lonely hole looking all lopsided. That would drive me nuts. I would feel like my car is pulling to that side :D

I thought you drilled a hole into the amp to destroy it...

this is my face when I watched the video....

Also did you try rubber washers at the mounting points? I would have just drilled holes into the bracket next to the original holes

Right?! After he did the one side I kept waiting to see if there'd be a matching bolt on the other side lol.

With so many ways to repair it and only way to ruin it, oh well i'm glad it wasn't mine that happened to.

Completely solidly mounted is not always a good idea either, you would have been better off having some rubber behind the amp to allow for some movement to prevent the cracking of the end plate.
