SnowDrifter
Interesting....I guess that could be another thing to test in the mix. RooTxBeeR
Well, the way I see it. That solder, even though has less conductivity than copper, does not a single thing negative to your conducitivity. Because without it, everything is still going through your ring terminal regardless. Then when you use solder, it just adds a little bit more surface area for it to travel through. Correct me if I am wrong though. TaylorFade
didnt know that about solder, always that it provided the best connection. Most people do. But what happens is... the solder works it's way in between everything, because that's what it does, and basically insulates it. It's fine for smaller connections, mind you. But I wouldn't use it on something where current transfer is paramount, It don't get no better than this, cuz...
Azagtoth502
Not cheap but they do have pure silver solder. 98GCLimited
Pure silver solder would probably be pretty expensive. I have always used silver bearing solder. Interested to see the results here if this comparison goes down.
TeamHT
I've always soldered my connections...TFade actually brings up a point I never spent too much thought on. Now I'm curious Quote Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
