I replaced my hatch struts on the tahoe this year with Tuff Supports. Before the hatch wouldnt raise by itself until i pulled it 50% or more of the way up. Now with those it pops open around 25%. I did my access window too and all i have to do is push the button and it opens up completely. Heres their site/catalog. Should be able to find the ones you want/need and grab them off of amazon for a little better price. Theyre not all that expensive anyways though

Safety first!  No joke, I momentarily shorted a single cell and wow... The sparks were way stronger than from a lead acid.

Also found out how to fit (2) 5Ks in this small ass car

I totally shorted one of my cells too hahaha. That's a lot of lithium! Are they jy?

Funny story about the shorting.  I was talking to a buddy about the lithium in the garage.  I tapped my beer can on the bank while I was explaining something, shorted a cell for a moment throwing sparks, popped a hole in the bottom of my beer can. LOL!  

2 banks are 80Ah JY and the other 1 is a K2 from that ebay seller we were watching.  I'm thinking of selling the 73Ah one just for consistency, but havent put it up for sale yet.  I'll probably end up with a third JY before the end of the year.  Once I'm done rebuilding, I'm planning on adding caps too.  I've been in touch with Samwha Capacitors.  They make some caps that are larger than the Maxwell cells.

I shorted one of mine while test fitting also lol. Melted a bit of aluminum on my Jim's terminals. Let me know if you do decide to sell walled.

Holy lithium bank, I almost bought 3 of those 73's but I'm thinking 2 will suffice.

I really hate having to spackle, paint, sand, etc, but it has to be done.

The seams are cleaned up a bit more with that little corner sander

First coat of dark walnut

Poor lighting, but I'll get a better one in the sunlight after its finished.
