Tarball Posted February 8, 2014 Report Posted February 8, 2014 Bought my truck for 12k sticker and about 22k after financing - yeah that sux Maintenance over 12 year includes crank kit, 3-4 clutches, tranny, drive shaft, AC, radiator, starter 2wice, waterpump, eFan conversion, standard wear and tear - brakes, tires, fluids etc. I'll leave that at some unknown yet required $$$ figure Audio high level underestimate is around 7k considering all the stuff i purchased but not including my time of course. Don't get me wrong, as I smoke Marlboro Reds, but if I saw one more kid with that smug-ass look (Look at me I'm smoking indoors) on their face, I was going to shove that thing so far up someone's ass that they'd look like a hillbilly trying to understand quantitative prediction theorem. You know why people are ass holes online but not in person? Because getting punched in the mouth hurts.

For example I bought an alt for 325 ish car went boom. Sold alt for idk half. used that $$$ to get my current "200a" alt. So i paid like 150 for my current alt.. but really im still 325 into it. I basically traded my original alt for this one. That kinda thinking... Ive been through many amps subs etc..its not funny. not nearly as many as others sure, but still to even think how much money went into sooooo many boxes built... pffffft. 500 in batts 600 in amps 325 in an alt 300 in wiring n fuses etc 200 in source unit etc 140 in speakers 600 in subs 600 in termlab thats about it atm Total : $~3265 Ive got likely 12k left on my car. 95legwagon Posted February 9, 2014 Report Posted February 9, 2014 its in my sig. but 1k for 95 subaru ( which was an incredible deal 4 years ago) and this car has had wayyyy to many different setups in it to calculate it all....... but just this setup= about $500......spent (estimation) total worth probably more because i had a LOT of free stuff. the cost is about to go up as fiberglassing my doors ensues.....along with more door speakers OH and i just bought a dd1, the ipod kit for the headunit(used with no power cord), another 35 for power cord,fiberglass, misc connectors, sooooo add a lil more on to that. bout to buy $60 worth of buyout woofer etc speakers, some sunflash, mdf rings (cuz im lazy) lets not begin to include the money i spent on the car to 5 speed swap it or for random mods to it..... easily over a grand lol i think there real i was looking through that guys stuff he sells and it looks like he finds stuff at auctions and just sells it Yea, it looks like someone got the mids about a month ago....shit.
