Here is an example from a purchase i just made a few days ago. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_45955_JL-Audio-XD-CLRAIC2-25.html I was looking at all the various rca patch cords they had and decided on those cause they didn't have the cheap spades like most of the other one they had, so i seen they had the make an offer button and clicked with a low offer to see what the lowest price i could get them at. It came up as $16.00 for them which is a really sweet deal considering they're 25ft. long and i also had a $4.00 credit which dropped it to $12.00 shipped, i was stoked to get such a really nice set of patch cords for a deal like that.

I always use sonic if they have what i am looking for, they have taken very good care of me when any kind of issues ever come up. We all know every company can have things fall through the cracks from time to time but it is how they handle those situations that i look at very closely to see how they were handled to get an idea of how well a company is ran.

What we paid for back then was quality and would withstand the test of time compared to the offerings coming out of china. I personally prefer anymore to go and buy old school gear knowing i am getting some of the best made amplifies that hit the market then and even now, i mean if you want quality you are going to pay for it one way or another.

*Sonic Rocks*Got a question for sonic.
Skullz replied to RooTxBeeR's topic in Sonic Electronix - Great Selection Great Prices
Sonic has been a pleasure to buy from and deal with if something happens that needs to be taken care of. -
Depending on your amp, look at where your voltage might be on the gain dial and set it to that and that will get you close and maybe even have some soft clipping which is fine if your careful.

They'll stink for a few then you'll be fine till you clip the hell out of it.

Sundown 100.4
Skullz replied to BassMunky's topic in Sundown Audio - GREAT Amps/Subs! GREAT Customer Service!
I used a screw going in where the speaker wire went, and ran the speaker wire where the screw went so it had something to bite into so it wouldn't strip again. Such cheap ass metal used that it can easily strip out with moderate force if you aren't careful, and even then it just might strip out on you. -
Sundown 100.4

I have the sax 125.2 that has stripped out the speaker screw, and find that what ever garbage pot metal they used is easily stripped and leaves you screwed over in what to do to fix it. EDIT: i stay far away from any amp that has screws with phillip's heads instead of allen set screws. -

Your best bet is to email jacob and see what he can do or say in that regard, and hope for the best i guess. -

I don't think that is a good route to go as you won't be getting any kind of warranty with it and in the event something were to happen at least with a new sub your covered and not out any money. I'm inclined to think that whomever was doing it stopped from either lack of parts or was outright told to stop and not sell them. You will have to step up to the Z line to get into the 18's and they're quite a bit more than anything else you might have been thinking on spending. -

Least expensive option out there right now unless your dead set on sundown. http://store.ficaraudio.com/ssd18/ -
You have the best and most successful car audio forum for bassheads and people are jealous of that. I don't know you personally and think you are one of the coolest people out there for all the things you do for us on your forum and allow us to do. No matter what people will always take cheap shots at people at the top cause in their eyes it's easier to try and draw you into a pissing match on their lower level than to step and be a man.

Purchased a pair of focal mid's, quick shipping and great communication with the seller and wonderful person to deal with. Speakers sound awesome and work as intended even though shipping tried their best to not make it happen. Sadly though shipping dropped the box and broke both baskets, but was able to make repairs myself and use them as i have no other replacements. No need for anything further as after gluing them they work very well. Thanks, Ray
