  1. Find and fix your leak the right way, you'll only mask it and cause serious problems later on. What kind of car is it?
  2. So many times we see people buy gear and unable to install it because they don't have the wire, batteries and deadener and all the gear sits in a closet for months at a time instead of installing and using the gear.
  3. First thing i would do is buy all the stuff needed for the install and see what is left before you dump it all on gear. Get your wire for the big 3 and runs to the back of the car with an extra battery in back to make all your connections to, and get all the sound deadener needed for the install along with your rca connections, this beginning series of things will help you get set for this install and set you up for upgrading down the line as it is sure to come at some point and your in a position to just swap the gear out instead of trying to play catch up. Install is just as important as the gear you choose.
  4. Can't believe it has been that long since i joined here. Monroe, Mi - Sept, 6, 2009
  5. Not worth the risk you take with something that can cost as much as those do.
  6. The rope would have a ton of uses for it, from filling corners to sealing speakers and subs, to attaching plastic back on the doors.
  7. He pretty much made the dukes of hazard what it was. R.I.P. Roscoe P Coltrane
  8. Had it been 3 weeks since sonic got the amp i don't think there is a person here that wouldn't back you 100%, but 3 days is nothing today to have to wait for an answer. Short duration wait times before making a thread that makes people feel as though you are putting a company on blast gets them a bit heated to say the least, and as good as sonic has been to many of us on this forum, we tend to stick together and stick for the company.
  9. Sonic has great CS, i have had to ship back a pair of speaker and amp and they took care of everything both times without a problem. Bashing the company doesn't solve much other than showing how immature your being, we have had people wait a year for some customer service by other companies that still took forever to fix.
  10. ^^^^^Happy Panda. lol Do you have anything for the mk1 fords focus?
  11. No need to tune so low, i have always had good luck tuning near the RF of the vehicle i own, and you get the added benefit of the violence the RF adds to the feel. Most people tune way too low and have a hole in the music between the subs and mids, unless your goal is for a wind tunnel you would be better off tuning a bit higher and match the output to the vehicles RF.
  12. I made the same mistake on my doors and thankfully it was winter and cold out making the removal process less painful. When it sticks to what ever it is on can be so tough to remove, after i got off the major chunks i used paint thinner to clean the rest off. EDIT: Never again will i use a non butyl based material for deadening.
  13. Miss the N64 and quest 64 that actually came with it's own book to get through the game. There were so many great titles, and many many many late night gaming sessions.
  14. Announcing the winner is a week overdue and people are wanting to know who won. Don't see why it would take so long to let the forum know who won.
  15. Entered from sonics thread. Awesome stuff guys. keep it up.
  16. Attila Czink16 hours ago (edited) Ok, buddy, so You try to say me, You able to power up this tiny speaker 30 KW? It is 40 HP! Ok, your cars is not run with 1-litre-60-HP engine, but the electric generator still up to 1 KW. (90 A...) When you try to make a power for this, you need 2500A (2,5KA) from 12 V system. And forget the amplifier's losses, cables losses, so you need a double power, to drive with sound! Buddy! Your speaker need to run a 1800ccm, 120 HP engine! That's why a GREATEST LIES the car speaker's wattage... This one up to 100 W, not 30,000... Or 30,000, but in milliwatts... WTF!!!!! His videos are another. WTF!!!!!
  17. Most either use firefox or chrome now instead of IE. IE has been to buggy for me to use so i switched years ago to chrome and have not looked back.
  18. Should have went to SSA and bought it there. http://store.soundsolutionsaudio.com/
  19. I think you have to have a 750 post count to sell here unless you go with the premium and the post count limit is lifted. Just had too many people getting burned by bad sellers.
