This I'd do 6 cubes after displacements, and tune it down @30 w/ the proper port per ft. Which for those should be between 14 - 18 in2 Then you should be happy -

Oh okay cool, I just really wish I would have known that, so I could have just waited and saved money. I would have ordered the 4 XL 15's now instead. I don't have big funds like you guys, it takes me months to save up to make these purchases. Oh well guess that's just how it is. Anyway I apologize for the threadjack, carry on!!!!

Did you buy a 5k that was in stock? Yeah I had no idea a pre-sale w/be shortly coming... And that was on the 15th. So nine days ago. U should look at my build when u get a chance, I always appreciate your advice, and keen eye! EDIT: It was bought on the 13th, my bad. I'm sure about it this time. If you got something that was in stock, we can't discount those. Right, I totally understand. What I was saying was, that I would have definitely waited had I known, and got the discount. I won't be using mine for a while still.. Oh well guess that's just how it is.

Were all out of 5.0s right now, I want to have this together for Jim Jeans show so it will just have the 4 5.0s for now BUT theres something in the works for power coming up, But It will be after the show. Should have it 100% by Finals Hmmm, how then did I get mine? Did more 5.0K's turn up? Just curious. Hope it wasn't one of his... since there are only three in the pic

Sweet! Got my 2nd DC 5.0K in today, o'lady wasn't mad at all! She seemed as happy as I! Ahh that always makes life a little better... now to get this Cruiser up and playing! With 10K+ on the sub stage, I might add

@ Borris - No, there is a guy on ssa with one doing 159+ with 2 - 9K's... not sure what brand. But then again I think he is about to pull it all and put it in a truck. So maybe I will have the most power in a PT...

So was the question "What size amp should I use"? If so, the answer is 1K per sub of clean power. At least that is what others have been giving theirs.

It limits the charge going to the acc. battery. Only "trickle" charges it. They are not meant for car audio, cause we need all the current we can get. I learned this the hard way a few years ago...

Great work guys, both of you! Jon, are those busbars in the back 1/8" aluminum? Are they gonna be big enough? Man I had 1/4" bars in my car, and I'm changing to 3/8" to make sure it's enough. If not they will get really hot. Just wanted to throw that out there. Keep up the awesome work guys!
