Its a 1 channel amp, its made for subwoofers. you take a dual 2 ohm woofer and wire the voice coils in parallel which will make your dual 2 ohm woofer a single 1 ohm load. you wire it to the amp.

have you tried using a site such as photobucket and than past a link? I know some people where having issues of using avatars from sites that are not safe by most virus programs, and everytime a user would go on a page that these users posted on their virus software would go all nuts. Than they will make a post saying they got a virus from this site, all because a user hotlinked a avatar photo from a unsafe site.

as long as your not removing the brake lines from the caliper or the master cylinder there is really no reason to bleed the lines if they where fine before you changed your pads/rotors.

None of my batteries sizzle either, and i have 930+ amps of alternator charging going to 3 batteries, and not even a stereo in the truck at the moment to drain the batteries.. You really need to check out your issues in your vehicle before you do something to cause even more damage!

Kinetics have an issue with swelling, new, used, overcharged, or even from heat if you use them in your engine bay. They swell, and thats why its always wise to do your research on products before you buy. Its very common for Kentiks because the case is not reinforced as much as some of the other battery manufactures batteries. The box looks new, as well as the battery, and it looks like the box shows no sign of being dropped or any other damage from shipping. Nor did you provide any evidence of foul play from UPS. Im sure the battery operates just fine, and has a normal resting voltage. This topic is being locked until a Representative of SonicElectronix can reply and farther assist you before this thread gets too far out of hand. But like I said, I see no signs of this issue being Sonics fault or even the shipping company since it is a COMMON and KNOWN issue with Kinetik.

How did you test the amperage? Normally testing amperage has nothing to do with both Pos and Neg terminals. Are you sure you have a meter that can read DC Current? Ive seen people before saying so and so alts are junk barbecue they dont charge, but yet they where using a A/C current clamp meter on a DC current electrical setup... Not all clamp meters can measure DC Current, but most will do A/C and D/C voltage, but only A/C amperage. If the battery has a bad cell it would be a significant drop in resting voltage. The normal size of a battery cell is 2.1 - 2.3 volts, so if the battery was bad, or going bad, your voltage would be around 10volts. More than likely the residue you seen coming out of the battery is corrosion, it happens to good and bad batteries and as nothing to do with the life of the battery or does it say that the battery is taking a

mixing the 2 types of wire should have zero effect on the amp. If he is in anyway insinuating that is what causing the amps to blow I would seriously question any advice he gives you! The most it will do if you mix the 2 types of wire is make all the wire act as if it is CCA wire since CCA wire is not as resistant as the OFC wire. Its like using 2 different speed memory sticks in a computer. Sure both sticks of ram are lets say 24pin DDR3 2gb sticks of memory, but 1 stick is 1600mhz, and the other stick is 1333mhz. Your computer will recognize both sticks of ram at the slower speed of 1333. (at least it how it use to be back in the day).

Ive noticed that the cheaper ring terminals will discolor, Seems like the Stinger terminals do not discolor much. I think the problem you are having is that you are not keeping it hot enough, I dont know what kind of flame you are using but I use a propane torch or map, depends what bottles I have on hand at the time.
