    I used to solder all the time but after I got my 12 hydro crimper that's all I use now.To each their own. If both are done correctly. it comes down to personal preference IMO. Steve does have a point about corrosion. I try to use tinned wire and adhesive lined Heat shrink. Seeing how most crimpers use closed copper lugs nothing can get in from the front anyhow.

      Beware of flex when using a jasper, the plastic can bend a tiny bit and make the bit lean out and make the hole bigger, also if you push on the router it can do the same thing. Also, in your first plunge the wood can grab the bit a little.
