LEDs are all Plasmaglow

Here is the underbody kit iirc http://www.plasmaglow.com/2-1-million-color-led-under-car-kit/

Here are the interior lights he bought ( 2kits where bought for 20 little led lightbars) http://www.plasmaglow.com/led-illuminators/

Also if you buy these, you need to buy a seperate brain if you buy the rgb color changing lights which are what we are using or else you wont be able to change colors.

http://www.plasmaglow.com/colorstrike-led-controller/

However by buying a extension cable for the underbody kit, and snipping a plug off I was able to get most colors from the brain being used in the 2.1million underbody kit.

Those prices are MSRP, you can find the kits a little bit cheaper. I think I found the little interior ones for $65 per set.

That video answered a lot of the questions that I had. how hard do you think it would be to match the LED to the music somehow. I thing that would be really cool especially in the sub box. Also how do you thing the LEDs under the car are going to hold up during the WIS. winter? or does he not drive it then? One more then I'm done, later in the video i looked like the rear lights have been blacked out, have they?

Honestly, every underbody kit that is able to be music activated and uses a microphone to sense the beat is wack. you can turn the sensitivity down on the mic all the way, and still make the kit light up constantly just with the stock stereo, let alone a high powered system.

I think there are only a few kits that use a RCA input for the music mode and would be something you would need if you wanted the music feature. I spouse you could mod the brain on a kit like this and unsolder the onboard mic, and solder a rca input into for a low level input and than adjust the mic sensitivity like a gain on a amp.

As for his underbody kit, I think its about 2.5 years old. It shows signs of wear and tear, I think the front tube has 1 color that does not work on the far end, and a side tube has a crack plastic tube with a hole in it, which allows moisture and water to get inside it. The tube still works flawless. Id imaging it was from an ice chunk in the road, or possibly a rock that hit the tube.

I tried talking him into the Iceled UFO kit but that was a no go due to it being expensive. Keep in mind, these are a rather cheap LED kit, with a few more options than the StreetGlows leds (which i think are generic).

At the end of the day, light output is nothing like a true quality streetglow gold series neon kits

Nice install, on an odd side note if you ever get a tooth ache again, goto a CVS/Walgreens/Albertsons etc and look for in the dental isle a product called "First Aid" it's 100% pure clove extract and it WILL kill any tooth pain in a matter of seconds, and it's much better than that orajel junk.

PS - I envy your workshop, me with only a garage :(
