WalledSonic
Matter of fact, the curve IH8 posted defines the exact reason why AGM batteries are specified in Amp-hours and why lithium is specified in watt-hours. Lithium gettin me all excited. What we need to do is convince the battery vendors to supply us with performance curves of their products. Voltage vs time plot with a steady amp draw. Chart that bish and supply on their websites. I think that would help folks make a better determination about buying into new battery technology. n8ball2013
You have to realize lithium technology has really just hit a point where it's fairly stable and people can trust it. It's not exactly a docile platform and in large amounts can go up quick. It's had that tag associated with it for years. It's also now just getting to the point of marginally affordable. When I was doing my truck lithium was just becoming available. I got better reserve for less at the time. Now lithium tech is bypassing agm by leaps and bounds. It is the battery of the future and I'm convinced of that.Lithium is rather old technology,Graphene batteries will be the batteries of the future. Not until they can get the cost down THERE IS NO BUILD LOG! 1998 Chevy Silverado ext cab Alpine CDA-9887 4 Team Fi 15s 2 Ampere Audio TFE 8.0 2 Ampere Audio 150.4 3 Digital Designs CS6.5 component sets Dual Mechman 370XP Elite alternators inbound! 8 XS Power d3400 6 XS power d680 Second Skin Stinger Tsunami Wiring Sky High A Real Voltmeter not a piece of shit stinger. SPL.Pantie.Soak
What I do not understand- people will go to crazy lengths to get the proper box together walls etc/ but will not take the time to look past Juice Box, JY, or XS. Yes I know some of you are- but the majority still think those are the only options. Several hours of research and you can end up with twice the capacity at half the price. Not trying to diss anyone. I am just confused. And about the hot ass weather; it is an issue for Lithium. Heat can shorten lithiums lifespan pretty drastically. It is an issue of a untested brand from a distributor/site that no one has any history with, with god knows customer service, when you KNOW you will get CS through JB, JY, and XS as well as a warranty if shit goes wrong. I am guessing well. Warrantys- I cant even argue there is anything better. Except a bank 5x the size for the same price. I am kidding. I will feel this way until I get burned. Dwn4BassAlan
I wish purpyl was here so he could let us know this conversation was pointless cuz northstar for life, bitch. I too have been looking into the Li series since I was originally going to get 2 XS D1600 but want to keep the weight down as much as possible for the chevelle. Like other people have mentioned I was stopped by the price at first but it's been a year since I even looked into it at all. It also gets hot as fuck in the trunk and the idea of a 3 year restoration project going up in flames is a little worrisome lol Biomedical/Behavioral Science Major, The (Self-Proclaimed) Undisputed-Homemade-Woofer-King Super-Neodymium-Woofer Build Log: The D4BA-V.2 http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/169236-diy-super-neodymium-woofer-build-log/?p=2475620 Fucking love Alan you goddamned fucking super nerd lol When Alan uses big words I don't understand It's warming up enough that the donut-punching cyclist douchenozzles are getting their two wheeled fagmobiles out. Everytime I see a guy driving a mini cooper I cant help but think he loves cock & (2/29/16)-My wife just bitched at me about throwing out things we don't really use. My response of well we don't really use your vagina so should we throw that out was evidently not the right response. I had to leave the room. I missed Alan. RIP 5/29/15 - I love you son.
