  1. Not picking on any particular brands, though I may call attention to some to show an example. Lying about your product bugs me, but when they claim to be over 15kW things get a bit personal for me. (if you know me you know why) I stumbled on a great example this morning http://www.wooferwarehouse.com/Stetsom-14K2E-Amplifier--1-Ohm-12V_p_120.html They claim 16,200 Watts at 13.8V. I can't wait for someone to dyno one of these, I'm so tried of hearing numbers like 15k, 20k, 25k thrown around like it's no big deal. I am totally confident that there is only 1 mobile audio amplifier that can play music that makes 15k+ on 13.8V. Unfortunatly in the mobile audio world today, "innocent until proven guilty" doesn't apply. The game has changed, the tape measure is here. You are guilty until provent innocent. Dyno it. Prove it.

  3. Trying out a few UV lights to see what works. Nanometers are important. If you are going to get your own, you should look into something between 385-410nm. I tried these three: i got these at home depot. They worked but it took about 15 minutes. 13watts, Nanmeters unknown. Results were OK but not favorable enough IMO. Next up 20watt flood bulb. Nanometers 365. Didn't work very good at all. Took about 20 min. Next up, the LED panel. Nanometers, 390 (iirc). This one worked pretty good! It took about 5 minutes. Of course the sun takes about less then a minute but for indoor use, 5 minutes aint bad! i am sure there is even better out there but so far, this seems like a good solution for those cloudy days or when you need light in a dark kick panel! check out http://www.blacklight.com to see the panel i bought as well as other stuff too!

  9. Chris: 40" wide by 15" tall by 20" deep, I'm not very familiar with port area or anything, I just want them to be low and loud, cause I love lows. I'd say I'm okay with losing some highs, especially above about 55 or 60. '97 Nissan maxima btw! Krakin: yeah I feel ya lol I've spent tons of hours just trying to design the right box.

  10. the fact alone you cant mix it too hot and warp pieces is a seller all in itself. mess up enough panels and pieces because you got impatient to count drops and you'll understand.

  11. 150 dollars.... Hmmmm. I could buy like 540 of the wooden handle brushes from harbor freight for that. Nah, not sold on this stuff yet. the sun is still free. The light is for using it when it's cloudy out or you are doing a kick panel where you can't get sunlight into the car. It isn't necessary to buy the light though. I don't really expect someone who doesn't do much glassing to appreciate the product. I mean, a noob WILL appreciate it because it is dummy proof, but someone like me, who does it a lot, will really love it. Especially if they used the old shit for years, like me. You go buy those 540 brushes, the 540 cups, the catalyst....keep making all that waste, and while you are waiting hours for shit to cure, mine is already done. Matter of fact, i am on the same brush for a month now. I used the standard shit recently because i didn't have a light and for the short time i had to go back to it, it was torture. You don't have to be sold on it, i really don't care either way, but i know for a fact this shit is amazing.....or i wouldn't bother put my name on it. just used some today to glass my center console, was rock hard in a little over a minute. Started sanding not even 3 minutes after I had poured some out dude, is it f'n awesome or what? haha...for real, the light is one thing, it gets you by in a pinch....but mix in some nice intense sunlight and it is game over :D

  14. No... Use manufacture's specifications as a guide. Those recommendations are straight from Jacob's mouth which if you do not know that is the owner of Sundown...so yes that is the manufacures specifications...now please shut up.... N9neMillahhh - 4 cubes will be perfect for the two 10's on a 3500Dv2 at 1 ohm; don't listen to Krakin because he obviously has no idea what he is talking about.... thank you.. someone here as been reading the forums..
