shops are more expensive for a reason. They have bills to pay. What is the extra $70 for? That covers your shipping (at least $30-$40 of it) and the rest is him having it in stock and you getting it NOW. Of course if you want to wait a few days, have zero customer service, pay for the shipping and deal with issues on your own when something breaks, then yes its a little cheaper. You have no shop, you have no overhead (taxes, employees, supplies, electric bills, insurance and a million other things to keep the doors open) and you aren't a pro. So of course your price to that lady is going to be cheaper. But are you insured? Probably not. I bet she would like someone to work on her car that is insured just in case. ANYTHING can go wrong. Are you prepared to buy that lady a new 10 when you accidentally drop it? Think about stuff like this before you complain or scoff at what someone is charging. If it's proven that the shop SUCKS, then maybe complain about it but if they are good, it's best you stay out of it. Post up a few builds you did, i am curious to see if you have what it takes to work on a "customers" car. Got a portfolio or some pics posted somewhere?3 points

6 got my vote, but 6 or 7 would be great. Number 2 is just too provocative for me. These are shirts that will be worn in public and represent the company, #2 just doesnt fit my taste because of that.2 points

I couldnt even imagine wearing number 2 in public. Is that going to have the big Johnson logo on it too2 points

Ouch none of mine even made the cut... Oh well. Anyways I choose #7 its the best out of the 9 listed. #2 has the most votes but idk.. it seems like more of a joke t-shirt. Reminds me of the "old lady middle finger" t-shirt design.2 points

Check out our newest product....the AMM-1 Audio Multi Meter. I will post up some pics to look at while the video is uploading. It is LONG, but if you are interested in what this piece does, the time will fly by. It's a pretty amazing little tool. Now before you look at franken-meter, please keep in mind it is a PROTO. We have overlay's on the way and this thing is all but ready to start building. We are looking at mid to late December on shipping. If you would like to get in on the pre-sale, click here: http://www.wccaraudio.com/smd-install-tools-electronics/smd-audio-multimeter.html After the presale is over, the price will go up to $399.99. So save $40.00 and get a LOW serial number! We will update you when it is ready to ship and automatically UPGRADE you to 2nd day shipping (from ground) (USA only). AGAIN, this is a PROTO, the finished version will be really nice and not UGLY like this one :D Here is some of the stuff it does....just a basic outline for now although we will add more to this as release date gets near. this is posted on page 2 as well but i wanted it closer to the top - so i am dropping it here too. I have used Arden Audio for a few things. I bought my deck there, and an alarm. The alarm was a Viper with a two way pager, it had everything except remote start. Installed was just over $250. Good shop.1 point

Any battery manufacture will have issues, no one company is perfect. I dont know how many swollen kinetiks ive seen. And its never installer error, its always the companies who makes the products fault. From what I can tell, where it is cracked is below the rope handle which is a high stress area for the plastic to support a 46lb battery (possibly why XS went away with this style handle on the other batteriers). But then again I never moved them around by a handle anyways (no matter what style handle), unless your just asking to potentially have a battery drop on your feet1 point

...Changing the game. Love it! Very cool new product. There's going to be a LOT of mad "clampers" out there. I agree, having it connect to a computer to log the data would be nice. How about something more simple. A USB port on the AMM-1 that logs the data and stores it to a CSV file on the attached flash stick? You could then take the flash stick to your computer later and plot the data in Excel. I would assume that writing all that data would slow down the measurements so it might have to be implemented differently, but it'd be a nice feature anyway. Am I the only one who's curious about the green circuit board with the many RCA connections in the video? BTW, awesome that you incorporated Tesla in the video and your products. Weird dude, but a genius nonetheless!1 point

The AD-1 Amp Dyno will test an amplifier on a bench or in a car to the amplifier's absolute limits and will measure true power either continuous to 1% THD, or to clipping. It can also measure dynamic burst power per industry standard procedures. All while monitoring the voltage at the amplifier. The AMM-1 Multimeter can measure many things, True Power is one of them. It measures true power into a dynamic reactive load (your speakers) and measures until clipping. This will not tell you what your amp is capable of quite like the AD-1 will, but it will tell you exactly what you are getting out of your amplifier and into your speakers at any frequency between 20-500Hz. Like Steve said, video on its way with more details.1 point
