I think for me the part that makes me nervous is the unknown. The fact that I don't completely understand them. How do you know how many you need, etc? Do you replace batteries with them, or if you had batteries would you run them along with those batteries? Stuff like that. If you're replacing a battery with these, say you had a D7500, how many would you need to equal that? I won't like, I saw this on facebook yesterday too, and I thought "hm xs power came out with an energy drink". You know like NOS did. LOL OH RIGHT, Like none of you thought the same thing!!!

Caps can be drained all the way to 0V so you can't "kill" them by draining too much charge. They do have a rated life like anything else, but it depends on the the quality of the part and the usage it gets. I've tested normal electrolytic caps that are 30 years old and they tested out better then some new parts I've purchased. The two biggest enemies of caps are heat and over-voltage. Things should get very interesting in the next few months. A good competitor to Maxwell will be great for pricing....and to further drive the technology. Excited to see where this goes!

Been looking for some Habanero Sculpin from Ballast Point, but hella hard to come by. Ended up with another one of there seasonalbeers, the Grapefruit Sculpin IPA. That is not whats included in the 22oz bottles My 3rd stout ever and was GOOD! Belching Beaver peanut butter stout.

When I spoke to Scottie about a month ago about these, I was told the will be farely priced to the other caps on the market. Not that those are all that cheap. The main focus what to answer the competitors calls and give them an XS power cap

most likely rebadged, going to be very similar to the 2.7 maxwell caps. probably more money too. not hating! maybe this will get more people to look into caps

i feel like i better close this now before i get the "this is the reason" or "this would make it better" posts. Maybe someday i will come up with something that will make some of you happy but most certainly people will still complain regardless. It is 1000% impossible to have any contest without a portion of the people still unhappy and "think" they have a better way. only the future will tell. but i HIGHLY thank the people who actively participated, those who did so month after month and never won, and never complained........those who did win and eventually put winnings to good use.....and also those who won but donated their winnings to someone else. It's been fun!
