Right. So the short edge-to-post dimension on the first battery plus the long edge-to-post dimension on the sefond battery is the same total distance as the width of the single battery. So your post to post hole spacing equals the individual battery width

Was about to measure the distance for you to determine hole to hole spacing, but realized its just the width of the battery. Anyways, the short side is 1+3/16". Ill post a pic later since file size is too big to post direct.

It depends on what frequencies youre sending to each speaker. You can either use the amp's crossovers or setup external passive crossovers to split the frequencies to each speaker appropriately. Or use a DSP. Although, I dont see the point in sending the same frequency bands to two different speaker sizes.

I dont think you'd need a 4ch tweeter amp with only 4 tweeters. If you went two pair of 4ohm tweets per channel (each pair wired together in parallel, so only 2 channels being used), you could wire the channels down to 2 ohm each. But then you'd have two more channels unused in that config with the 4ch amp. If you need a tweeter amp just get a small 2ch amp. Most tweets are 4ohm or higher, so just wire each set in parallel (left and right). How were you planning to wire all those mids to the 4ch?

My experience: 5 weeks to ship an SCV-6000D. Got it on Halloween sale (10% off), but Black Friday sale was even better (25% off). Since the 6K was taking longer than he expected, he offered a refund on the difference (15%) but I requested an SAE-1500D instead. He is honoring the 'free' SAE-1500D, but I am on week 6 waiting for it to ship. I havent been in a rush since I'm still building my wall, so I've been cool with the wait.

I have bank consisting of (1) D3400 and (3) D3100. I charge with a Singer alt and occasionally the PSC60. Some Saturday mornings I'll check my resting voltage before I start the car with my Klein CL800, and I am always 12.8-13.1V. The value is usually contingent on how I was playing the sound system within the last 5 minutes of my drive home the day before. I have, for sure, measured 13.0X multiple times at least 12 hours after turning the car off. EDIT: After reading the entire thread, I havent had my car off for 24 hours in a while and havent had my XS's out since the install, so my comments above are moot. 2nd EDIT: A lot of folks arent mentioning their charging method and if they have PCM-controlled alternators. The PCM-controlled charge cycling causes my bank to rest lower than if I unplug my batt current sensor (13.8V self exciting continuous charge).

All of the charging instructions here and on the website neglect mentioning alternator charge voltage. Are there negative repercussions for charging at 14.8V via alternator all the time?

Did you read the warranty statement? I'd have to agree with a few others that you should figure out for yourself what the problem is before blaming the vendor. Looking forward to see you do an exact repeat test with another battery to see if it drains over the same time period under the same conditions. Document your findings here because we are interested.

I need to change my password, but there is an SQL error. I log out, and recaptcha doesnt work. I go to the support screen, and I cannot select a department, so the support form wont go through. (This is still a problem, btw) I dont want to be logged in via FB. How can I change my password? This forum is making sure you can only log in via FB. Please advise. EDIT: disconnected the FB link from my settings, then went thru the 'forgot my password' thingy, even though I never set one up. Not intuitive. I must say, it would be better if the site gave a message other than error messages. Oh well, i'm squared away now.
