    Before I toss it, lets verify its bad. Put the battery on the intellicharger, and after only about a minute goes from orange to green, done. But when I measure it, its onlyy at 12.3. Its done for, right?

    FML!! I think the flu bug is creepin' on me. Started getting cold sweats and chills at work this morning. Came home and slept, woke up ok. But now i'm feeling all achy and sluggish, and cold even with the heater on. Damn.

    Hows the car handling the weight. @Futuristic, my issue with DC and the lvl 6 are all cleared up. I was out alot of money and spoke(typed) out of anger. Cleared the air with Rusty. I don't know how reporting failing amps (Sundown) is "blaming". You saying I did something wrong? DOn't answer here and clutter the thread. PM me.

    Why is your LPF at 40hz? The means it can only play under 40, and if your subsonic is at 30, your sub is only playing 30 to 40hz.

    If I purposely want to blow a sub by wiring to a strong amp, do I risk damaging the amp when the sub pops.

      The worse thing I've done was blow a fuse on a kicker amp. I wanted to see how much power a $20 vr3 sub I had for 18 yrs. It was rated for 200 watts Maxx 75 rms. It fried the coils to melting point at 600 watts blew at totally at 900 watts :) . Took days for the smell go away. That's my experience with that sir.

      Ken, you are not supposed to openly bash forum vendor brands, especially ones that will go back and delete YOUR comments that prove THEM wrong. Since you are using the DC, go ahead, it's protection circuit works last I knew lol.

      You wont blow that DC amp doing it. You know somethings wrong with a group of amps when you have one of the most reputable guys on the forum saying they need to do something about the protection circuit.

    Oh yeah, the mono's seem to be bulletproof. I can't be the only one with these problems with the multi-channels. Only mono I saw have issues was a 3000d that was old and beat to all hell, still worked, just had random not working LOL.

    There was a long list of shit they had to replace. Few months later, its doing the same thing, but neither db-r or Sundown will fix it. Imagine that, db-r is a Sundown dealer and their repair shop, so they can make money on a shoddy repair. They are strong amps, and the onboard crossovers are awesome, but there is something fishy about problems like this.

    Got to work this morning only to find out they let all the holiday help go already. That, plus all the callouts because of New Years made for a very hectic freight day. I really hate pushing people so hard for as little as we get paid.
