      Thanks Kylar, I appreciate the comment more than I think you will ever know. My mind goes to the worst possible scenario and having you talk me through it helps a lot

      I think I was a bit dehydrated from flying since I drank a bunch of water and I'm starting to feel better.

    Anyone else ever thought of chopping a car in half then putting it back together with something electrically nonconductive? So one side of the car is a positive, and the other side is a ground?

      even if possible it will still have voltage drop.. what good is it having 100,000,000,000 of ofc wire when you dont have the battery bank and 60a alternator? it will apply to that car too.. it will need the power to not have voltage drop

    IMO I wouldn't get the d3100 as a starter battery for under the hood use. The case isn't reinforced, so I'd question it holding up to the heat of the engine bay. You could get whatever XS battery you could fit under the hood that has a reinforced(ribbed) case and an xp3000 in the back. That would be pretty good IMO

    Well, I own the Crescendo 3500 and the thing is solid as hell Have mine wired to .5 daily and it never skips a beat even if I clip it - always stays cool, never protects.

    Touch the leads together on your multi meter. If it reads anything other than zero, subtract that from what you measure

    It's puzzling... It means you have zero box rise. Did you measure .8 ohms with your DMM?

      Yup. Actually the files didn't take that long. I pretty much knew what I used and what I didn't. 100 gigs down!

      The programs will take a while though
