  1. Well, I hope whoever bought this amp actually gets it since the user is not allowed to sell here without having 150posts and is in violation of the forum rules put in place to sell. rules are rules...
  2. lol But you should try putting them under the car instead of on top. car looks small enough that it may float than, then you got a bass boat
  3. Wow is my lower back saying FU today... :(

  4. wow, that is sad to see all these people fighting over customers to sell the same nut. This right here is why DD Audio does not allow online sales. Things get dirty and make the Company look bad, and the people pushing the product look even worse.
  5. 9 or so hours of sanding thru the night and still not done. esh!

  8. your comment is not needed... anymore comments like this and you will have a short vacation bro!
  9. There is no way to even get a ballpark figure... You could have 2 of the same systems in 2 of the same cars, and have 1 system 1-3 db louder because something stupid like a rust hole, or a bad trunk/door seal. LOCKED

  12. I love those people that try to troll a company because their lack of ability to even remotely properly install a product, than makes up a million lies to go on top of their hack job install. It really brings out the trollololol in me at times, kinda miss it!

It's not trolling if it's the truth lol. So many valid points proven, I'm still waiting for any further argument :)

there was no lies. You posted what you wanted to make your point seem valid. Then the thread was deleted so now no one will ever know lol. I had no intentions on "trolling" his company, in fact I planned purchasing subs.

  13. Old news... Ed lester did something like this but on a much larger scale like 6 years ago So feel free to hate me calling you a copycat.
  14. You do not have enough posts to sell You do not have no pictures with no name & date infront of said item. And its a damn shame that a kid in preschool can read better than most the people using the internet..
  15. platinum and gold. fuck you might as well get your bussbars studded in diamonds right away and wear the thing as a grille
  16. nice new car! Was going to say, perfect angle for the first pic with the dent right there, than i scrolled down. ha! looks great!!
  17. oh snap that thing is looking sexy now that your starting to get it all trimmed out!!
  18. Im almost 100% sure you have to order from WCCarAudio.com. Even the site redirects you to Steves site http://www.wccaraudio.com/smd-install-tools-electronics/smd-distortion-detector-dd-1.html The units are just assembled and tested at the Phoenix location and all sales are done thru Steves webstore. They may make an exception, your best bet would to private message Tony or Juan on the forums, or email them so they can answer your question for sure.
  19. Most like drivers are a straight up GIMMICK! 1st bad thing about a line driver is if you aint already clipping your preouts out of your headunit, you will sure as hell be clipping the preouts coming out of the line driver which boosts the signal, which results in your amp clipping than leads to your speakers clipping and potentially blown woofers and possibly driver or outputs of your amp.. Next what does a line driver really do besides boost the preout voltage of a headunit. Often times almost everyone uses the line driver wrong by installing it in the rear of the vehicle by the amp, not close to the headunit like they should be if they would take a few minutes to read the instructions. Hell Ive been guilty of this before, but you live and learn. Anyways.... Continuing on.. Take a look at almost any decent amplifier, even a lot of your cheaper amps and knock of amplifiers.. They all have an Adjustable gain. That gain is to be set with your preout voltage, its not a volume knob. The amplifiers gain on most amps are adjustable from 0.2volts up to 6volts, sometimes even 8 or 9 volts depending on an amp. What does that mean? That means that as long as your headunits RCA pre-outs are anywhere between 0.2volts and 6volts, that you can properly tune your amplifier for full unclipped undistorted power if you have the correct tools ( Oscilloscope, Digital Multi-meter, SMD DD-1, etc).... Almost every radio, even your cheaper Duals, Vr3, Sony that you buy at Walmart have 1volt or 2volt pre-outs, which means the line driver will serve you no purpose or gain in performance. Now your nicer radios or higher end radios will have 2volt, 4volt, 5volt, 8volt preouts, again making a line driver useless! The only time you can really see a gain from performance from a line driver is if the line driver has a decent built in crossover network (such as some of the AudioControl units but all cost $200+ at minimum). Or if the line driver accepts High level inputs, so you can convert a highvoltage signal from a speaker wire into a lowlevel signal, than boost and reshape that signal due to the loss of power when its converted, and restore freq response that are often missing caused by a factory radio. Many processors will do this, as well as a few other units like the piece by Cache, or even the new SMD-LD1 iirc which will be a distortion free line driver that accepts high level inputs. Another reason a line driver may come in handy is if you are doing a crazy install and say you have 10 amplifiers that you are using for you subwoofer stage alone and have to use a bunch of RCA Y-Splitters to divide the signal up into every amplifier resulting in drastically reducing the radios preout voltage (but than again almost all your newer amps have RCA inputs and outputs or can be daisy chained to eliminate the need for y-splitters. Other than the 3 reasons above a line driver will not gain you much of anything besides having a distorted clipped output after installing it. If you use a line driver, that means you have to turn your amp gain down, or else you will be clipping. No matter if you add a line driver or not, the line driver if properly setup will not make you louder. The line driver will not make your amp operate more efficient. The line driver will not make your amp have more power. The line driver will not make your amp run at a cooler temperature. Again if the line driver is properly used and tuned, you will notice/hear/see no difference to your system at all on 95+% of the systems out there!!!! /essay
  20. Gonna bump this up to the top. Got a new video uploading right now! its at 42% uploaded. Me and my buddy have kinda conflicting schedules, so work time is limited to 2 nights a week usually from 7pm until we call it quits around 4-6am usually. So in the new video we got bored, and put some of the old subs we took out in the box to see if it was sounding good, and it was!! It already seems way louder with the 2 sa12s wired at 1ohm on a saz4500 than the 3 sa-12s that where wired at .66 ohms with a 4500. Again it should be fully uploaded and processed soon! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X0OlIt6s1XA&feature=youtu.be Gear is already here and listed below: Pioneer avh-p4300dvd (2011 model) 3-4 XS Power D3100s 2pos & 2neg runs of knu flex ofc wire Still needing a high output alt (not sure what brand or size "yet"} stock 160amp hairpin stator alt in it now. 2 Fi BTL N3 12inch subs with dual .7ohm coils 2 Sundown SAZ-4500s strapped at .7ohms (or .35 ohms per amp DAILY) enough room for 4 SAZ-4500s if needed as seen in the first video... 2 Sundown SAX100.4s, they will be bridged to 2channels per amp, so it will be 1 amp per front door ran actively. 2 Sundown NeoPro 8s in each front door along with 1 Selenium ST200 super tweet in each door and 1 of the same super tweets in dash. Doors need to be fiberglassed and done up, but wont be started until box is complete.
