after 3 years, I've just now come to the realization that my front stage in my car is terribly staged for the passenger side, sounds great to me in the driver, but dear god it sounds terrible for the passenger. Time to put in work!

I swear I have to double check everytime I see this black IS350 driving around town, damn near looks identical to Meades as far as rims, tires, polish, and drop goes. Doubt it even looks close on the inside doeeee

I honestly don't know what else I can do to these XFL's to blow them besides wall socket. 3.5k @ 1ohm to the pair and they don't show any signs of stress even if I hard clip them. Probably the best budget subs out there HANDS DOWN.

I thought the build quality went up from the older inches to my current ones considering I've owned both. I've free air'd a singleXFL at 1 ohm on my 2500'and it handled it very well considering
-
And this is why I love my XFLs...

they are the 2nd run of XFL's I believe, the ones with the new baskets but the bottom of the motor still has the silver sticker on it, not black like the new ones. I just keep pushing these subs to their limits no joke they are pretty much at max throw on most of my songs and they barely get warm. I wouldn't be surprised if I wasn't clamping more than 2k considering my voltage drop and being wired @ 1ohm, but still, for them being in a 4 cube gross box they are catching hell haha.

for some odd reason at all these big events I see people with the most expensive equipment blowing shit, and yet those with less or cheaper equipment like me for example have absolutely no issues no matter how hard we play it
-
some lack the knowledge to keep it in one piece. someare just trying to get more out of it than its capable. Some realize its part of going big and just say screw it charge it to the game.
-
theres a price and risk for going big.. the bigger the build the easier it is for something to go wrong
-
I think it's more of the crowd effect/peer pressure. More likely to fuck shit up when people are watching instead of by yourself...

so the WCC CTS-V that was built for Justin Bieber has a DC Power alt on it

You just found this out now? think DC Power even has some video up on their youtube page
-
I don't follow them on youtube, but yes, i'm assuming every other car they've built with high output alts also runs DC power?

He still sucks on ball sacks.

soooo I could possibly have a 40 hour week job at my local audio shop, problem is he needs me for 40 hours a week, nothing less possibly more. Guy says he wants me there since i'm willing to learn and I won't do things my own way like other experienced installers would want to do. Might take it after this semester ends
