Your method can work ken, but some multichannel amps need the other method. Look at the manual for the dd-1. I have found clipping a different levels using both methods. Not trying to be a dick. Just stating what the manual for the dd-1 says. I will link the manual if you would like.

I haven't read the owners manual for the cc-1 but did you put the neg probe on the left channel + and positve on right channel - like you do with the dd-1?

I thought about adding that option, but i think it would cause more confusion. We see a lot of threads from people who cant even set gains on a multi channel amp, imagine giving them twice the tracks to choose from.

I mentioned that, just not directly, i don't know if he want a bunch of PM cause people don't want to look at his sig.

If the mods don't mind I would like to post a question to the community. Would you guys rather have a dd-1 test disc that had -3db, -7db and -12db tracks, or do you think the current dd-1 test disc is fine the way it is? Note: I know that there is a good chance that there is already a lot of cd's already made for current dd-1 production. I'm not asking for d'amore engineering to just scrap the current production of those. I'm not asking D'amore to even change anything, I know if this change were to happen, it would also mean probably re-printing instruction manuals and of course this is just an opinion poll. I just feel like others here that -5db is too aggressive for midrange and -10db is too aggressive for the sub range. I also know that these tracks are readily available here on the forums and on the internet. Anyway cast a vote, i am curious about how the community feels about this and please discuss your reasons why you made your choice. Thanks for voting!

If I rebuild I will go center port too. I have heard some people don't have luck with aeros in walls but that was 3rd hand info. Can't speak to the truth of it.

I'm at 33ish ad 8.5 cubes. Seems a bit peaky to me and the rolloff under tuning is pretty sketchy. I would stay at or u deer 8 cues if i were you. Gear is in my sig

I use -5 on mids set the output on the mids on the head unit to -1 so that makes -4. Tweets are set with 0 and hu HP is -6 so +6? Lol most of you know what I mean. Edit spelling but not grammar.

I could be wrong but I think most music across the dynamic range not just bass is less than -5db.

I heard this is on cloud server. Idk if that's a good or bad thing. "CloudFare" or however its spelled. Just refresh a couple times and you will get error 520 then you will see the name. Also, i have a feeling 25000 users are hitting F5 right now which probably isnt helping matters.
