You get an hour go thru my build log. you will laugh how closely they mirror one another. And at the end of the day my lancer is still an ugly car. My Degaf car i like to call it. Which is probable why i like the Malibu so much.

Dude your build is like my twin build. Same upgrades in both. Lancer system has been down for months and just want to finish the Malibu to move on to mine. Fiberglass looks good. Nice to see your improvement in the last 3 yrs. Been working on mine that long too, closer to 4 yrs. Keep up the good work man.

Yes that tells me you don't know car audio, I owned lots of 4ch amps and this opti 250x4 is the best so far.. The only downfall is the size. It's like almost 3ft long so if space is an issue,it's not the amp for you, but if u want a powerful clean amp this is the amp you want. Gotcha, I will alter my opinion to match yours from now on. Thanks for the insight. I guess to make everyones life easier i will follow Mr Skippy. Selling all my high dollar shit for Lanzer equipment. Boy there stock is going to go thru the roof if everyone falls in line. lol

Yes, your right. No body knows what they are talking about on this website but you. Its all opinions here, if you think that amp is the bomb then we are all happy for you. Others like what they like for a reason. I personal fell in love w/ RF products in the late 80s early 90s. Are there other brands i would run... you bet. Lanzer not being one of them unless it was free and even then i wouldn't. OP asked suggestions and like one member said, great choice in subs but why skimp on the amp? Each his own, but i have seen you slam this forum before and for a new member thats not cool. If you have valid points in why that amp is so good explain yourself without the slams. Might get you farther. Just saying.

what purpose would that serve? putting a termlab on a speaker box on the garage floor would not produce any sound pressure worth talking about. Maybe right near the port but that is lame too. I feel for you Steve and understand what your going thru to a certain degree. I am proud that you are man enough to post such personal experiences on here and to have feed back from members to help understand and deal with it. When i was 5 yrs old my dad left, i didnt not know him and only have a couple memory's of him. He worked in the oil industry and traveled the world searching for oil reserves. My siblings always seem to have taken him leaving good. I say that because they grew up well and have good lives. Thank god my mom met and remarried a man that was the only father i have ever know. A wonderful man that has supported me thru all my troubles in life. Being sober the last 6 years and in my mid 40's i to forgave my sperm donor years ago, over the phone also. I did it for closure in my life and that horrible chapter of self destructiveness for a multitude of reasons. Ok so maybe i had daddy issue's, maybe daddy didn't care because daddy wasn't there.....lol Austin Powers moment! I have no relationship with him, not sure how i would know if anything where to happen to him. I feel pity that a man could walk away from 4 kids and there mother and never pay a dime, or more importantly have a relationship with them. A sad human being IMO. Thank god there are good men out there like my dad who took 4 of us in as his own and had another son with my mom. So i think its ok to not feel sad Steve. comes a time in your life when you just move on. You understand, but move on. Thank you for sharing.

This is a good 2 sided story with a hell of a lesson here for the OP. Learn now that you always get what you pay in life! And the fear of not wanting to try it on your own has contributed to your problem in your build it sounds like. Youtube vids, holidays inns & trial & error go along way. Its just that kind of hobby were sometimes you got to roll your sleeves up and get dirty. Now i feel for you that this guy could be screwing you over. IMO it doesnt take but a week or so to do the pillars. I hope he does what he says and finishes them ASAP and ships them back to you. Life is a learning process, i hope this has helped you in future choices. Know your part in this, you took a high risk chance on a lower cost that isnt working out for you. Ya the guy is a Dbag for having it this long but it started with you. Good luck.

I agree with this. Youtube video's for proper installation. If your going to do it, do it right IMO.

Stick around the forum and start reading! Your only going to get so loud with what you have, then you'll have to upgrade amp, subs, batteries, wiring, alt ect. You have 1 good 12" sub on a low end amp.
