That's the hole part of this addiction we have .Because there are people who will do the job you can only think of. There is nothing wrong with paying a professional to do a job for you. By you being a (word underlined and bold) I figured you'd be happy or at least be understanding that people would rather go to a pro.. All love , If I wanted my box to be a show piece there's now way I could make it look good , can't paint for shit, im just always sketchy of people working on my cars. audiofanaticz Posted July 26, 2016 Report Share Posted July 26, 2016 ALOT of shops around here take pride in their work /product and do not install pawn shop shit and put their name and reputation on it. My install shop takes my work every time. Oh wait. I'm my own install shop Right! If the car is a mess, charge them more. Even if they come to get an amp hooked in and already have their radio installed, I pull that radio out and typically always end up redoing the harness with solder and heatshrink. I use to be that guy that would reuse bits and tads here and there on a install, but now if they come and want something put in its all new wire, new fuses new fuse holders and so on. Or they would come in saying the sub is making a funny noise and we find the gain is jacked all the way up. One time we had to tell someone they had to go home and clean their car out.
