Jesus christ, went to order a 4ch and 2ch RCA + some 14ga wire from KNU and shipping is $50? That's as much as my damn order...where else should I get RCAs?

Yeah, I decided I need more than 14 mpg lol. Pretty early, I've got class from 9:30-10:45. We can figure something else out if that doesn't work with your schedule.
-
Naw that works fine. Would prob have to be either M or W after class though. Does wednesday after class sound good for you? (headed out for a little btw won't be back til later)
-
Whatever works best for you, Wednesday is good with me. You've got my number if anything changes.
-
OMFG I'm hooked on Plasti-dip. Dipped some trim on the car, now parts of the door panels, and also my steel factory rims that have looked like shit forever. This stuff is amazing!

i think container. I could nor ship 1 gallon but could ship 4 quarts. how retarded
-
Then you should be fine ordering cans from him. Pretty sure the cans are only 11 ounces (311g).
-
merica!
-
So. Much. Money. Spent. At least I shouldn't have to worry about anything else for a LONG time

Oh believe you me, it will fit! And I don't have a 2 door cav...yet
-
Hopefully, both of us will be playing by the Crescendo show on Jan 19.
-
Oh jesus, that sounds so close lol. Got around to working on some stuff today at least, gonna be a long road
-
Stretching spandex over the door panel pre-resin...so many wrinkles and it keeps trying to shrink back to its original state. Frustrated lol
- Show previous comments 3 more
-
The more wrinkles the more body filler you will need later. Plus it will be harder to get the chop mat layed down without air pockets too.
-
its less work when you get to sanding and filling etc. Good luck with the wrinkles. If you are getting them you are trying to stretch over too much of a span. Try filling it with floral foam or something so that the spandex lays on it basically.
-
Gotchya. I'm going back over some of the spots now and it's getting a little better. I think I was rushing it too much at first. Appreciate the help gentlemen!

So did you guys know that it's actually beneficial to the life of your computer to clean the screen from the inside? My IT buddy showed me how to clean it, check it out: http://www.formation-massage-stage.fr//outils/nettoyeurecran/cleanscreen.swf

I was really interested in that.. Got me good lol

^that last one gave me and the gf a good laugh Cam, thanks haha

18 cubic feet gross to work with inside of the shell. Hmm...
- Show previous comments 2 more
-
Keep in mind this is just the air space inside of the shell. No woofer or wood volume for the actual "box" is being taken into account. Plan for now is 2 more 12 inch Zcons but I've also been looking at Team Fi 15s LOL
-
2 - 10's
-
Don't know if I've got enough space for two of those big boy subs Kyle...let's be realistic here. Was thinking a pair of PWX6s?
-
Aww yeah, it's Friday and you know this man!

Dang, I've only been working about 2 days a week recently. We've been stupid slow for most of summer. Might as well enjoy it while I can!
-
Friday? Fuck! Class until 10pm. Gotta be at work at 2am. Couple hours of sleep WOOT!!!
-
I have a feeling that's how Fall semester will be for me...soaking in summer while I can and thankful for it
-
Saved up the past couple weeks and bought a DC Power Alt. Few more weeks and I should have enough for 5 or 6 group 31s. Finally doing it right

I tell My 2 cents if that o.k. Had 4 good battery had voltage drop. Got three more no votage drop at all. You will be gald you did sir.
-
Group 31 battery are the trick , well for my system. Delete this if you find this to be trolling sir.
-
No, you're good bro! I'm just really excited to actually have a HO alt and still be able to have a functional electrical system at idle lol
-
When you can't find that one fking tool (window crank remover) and you literally clean out your car, your room, and still no luck. Jesus christ, I see that damn thing everywhere and the one time I need it can't find it. /rant

2 small flat blade screw drivers will work fine
-
I lost mine once too, had to say fuk it bought another one
-
It's probably behind your seats like all of those other things you couldn't find a few weeks ago.
-
Wisdom teeth getting pulled next friday. Putting up the wall along with PWXs and C1100.4 next Saturday. Fugg yeah
-
Good to see you're finally getting the mids/highs on par with the sub stage. Still planning on using the same airspace and tuning?
-
Going to see what it sounds like with the same specs in a wall and then tweak it from there if that makes sense. I'm sure that I'll end up lowering the net volume per sub a little bit though in addition to taking out that center port wall and making a sort of 'v' in the back to direct airflow. Just really hoping it's not raining otherwise not a damn thing will get done...how's your big plan coming along?
-
Sounds like the smart way to go about it; I'm excited to see how it'll come out.
My plans have changed a bit; got tired of getting 13-14 mpg so I'm in the process of getting the truck ready to sell so I can get something a little more fuel efficient. I'm leaning towards trying to find a CRX but we'll see what happens.
-
-
Damn you FL and your rain! Especially when I was on such a motivated streak to get this wall done
-
Decisions decisions...those LVL 6 18s are looking pretty good and say 4500 RMS a piece. Would require same airspace for 2 as it would for the 4 12" Zcons I was planning (already have 2) and would fit with my DC9k just as perfectly. Just wish I could hear LVL 6s in person to make a judgement call :/
-
If only I hadn't seen the 10% off for first 100 SHCA orders I would not be in this predicament haha
-
A team mate is doing a 156 sealed at 28hz with a pair. Sounded very good if I do say so myself
-
Was that the 6th order I saw on YT? Tried looking up some vids and didn't see as much as I'd hope. Realized I don't have funds atm for them anyways, need the money for batts for now
-
-
Rear view cameras? Any people with walls here have one? Would be a lot more visibility than a square foot of plexi in the rear of the wall through 5% tint...
-
Time to make some more sawdust
-
Can't believe how much cleaner and clearer everything sounds. And to think people doubted 2 12s in a wall. Only thing I miss is being able to play mid 20s, can only play to upper 20s
-
why would you put two 12s in a wall
-
What do you drive? A clown car?
-
I'm a full time college student who delivers pizzas about 40 hours a week lol. Still need to get to my spare tire so I have the amps mounted in the trunk on a hinge that gives me access to it. And I can't do any fiberglass work so mounting the 4 6.5s in doors was out of the question. It's an 03 Cavalier though
-
-
CarAudioFabrication...I think you've finally given me motivation and expertise to fiberglass my doors. Absolutely cannot wait any longer!
-
Decided to fool around with the idea of a removable port on my past few days off...I can now play down to ~23/24hz and still maintained loudness in the upper 40s/low 50s. Fugg yeah!
-
Just ordered a Jasper Circle Jig 200, long overdue lol. Least I'll have perfect circles for my door pods/speaker rings!
-
Sealing the edges of a wall in a 4dr car where the wall doesn't quite come up to the B-pillar and there's a gap on front of back doors. How do I seal it and make it look good?
-
Sundays are so sad these days without Breaking Bad...going to bed an unsatisfied man lol
-
Got the tweeters installed just now. Finally a complete system, 4 Vifa Tweets, 4 PWX 6.5s and 2 Zcon 12s. Think it may be time to do a build log once I get these trim panels done + wall covered
-
That time of the semester for group projects to start being due...oh joy. One more semester...
-
Basically, I'd saw my grandmother's arm off and slap her with it just to get this amp...fking lol'ing so hard at that Amp Test Tuesday
-
Applied first bit of the US Composites Duraglas just now. Tried going too big and didn't get it all on before it hardened, but the bit I did get on worked pretty good. Plenty left to learn I suppose!
