  1. Cody I think it's like a heat sink basically, I mean what if an amp used a paper heat sink compared to an aluminum one, maybe tony has a better answer

  7. I'm not sure how much room you have but maybe a center console setup?
  8. Why did you clamp with a -15db tone? Unless you set your gains with that, it will be much quieter=less power than a 0db tone
  9. "Sioux Falls police say 21-year-old Brent O'Neal faces first and second-degree manslaughter charges along with a list of others including felony hit and run. If convicted of first-degree manslaughter, O’Neal could be sentenced to life in prison." From local news station's website
  10. I do have a hu with a remote and iPod control and I just hit the next song button on the stereo but I was just saying for an example of the many people that use there iPod thru a aux cord Or the cop might even mistaken me changing the radio station for me texting since I (example) am looking down at my hand
  11. He is getting charged with 1st and 2nd degree man slaughter I believe and he would face a maximum of life in prison if found guilty for 1st degree
  12. I just don't know how they would enforce a ban on texting, I mean what if I am just hitting next song on my iPod which is technically not texting and driving although still distractive it's not illegal and there is no way to prove one way or the other if I have my phone in my pocket, it is just my word against what the policeman thinks he saw That is my only problem with a texting ban
  13. And for those that don't want to read the story, a 20yr old guy driving a Chrysler 300 was going 60 in a 30 zone in downtown Sioux Falls and started drifting from the outside lane into to inside lane and hit a car then continued drifting into oncoming traffic and hit 2 more cars then an oncoming motorcyclist, who later passed away in the hospital, and the car finally ended its spiral in a Walgreens parking lot and then he fled the scene since he was scared but was tracked down by witnesses.
  14. Hey guys I was just wondering what your thoughts on texting and driving is? It has become a hot topic recently around here since there was an accident that killed a motorcyclist. Link to story: http://www.keloland.com/NewsDetail6162.cfm?id=135028&fb_comment_id=fbc_10151093872981480_24165934_10151094816976480 This guy graduated from my high school a couple years ago so I kind of feel for him, but his mistake was very costly and will probably end him with a decent amount of jail time. The people commenting on the story though seem to be taking it too far IMO I was just putting this out here to see what you guys thought about it.
  15. Not necessarily.. If you use weather stripping around the edges to make a snug fit then the trim panel would be removable and then he would be able to more his box into the hatch and flip up the seats for kids and boom done!
  16. I used this on my last box when there was a noticeable gap and I will keep a container of that stuff around for every other box build I do. It was a lot easier to manage into the right shape than when I mix sawdust and titebond III (not sure if since I used III that would hurt) but then after it dried in a couple hours, since it was a decent sized gap, it was really easy to sand square and fit perfect. Cool story bro.
  17. You got me lookin at lasers last night and I think that I'm gonna go get this one sometime soon http://lazerer.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=179 Looks like it could be plenty of fun
  18. From what I heard from ESPN was that the penalties were made so harsh to try to discourage the 'keep quiet cover up' attitude of the situation so if anything like this happens in the future the school should just come out with it right away and get the bastard arrested and out of there instead of hiding it in fear of what will happen. So now schools know that if they try to hide stuff like this that they will face a harsher punishment if they cover it up. Just what I caught by watching 30 mins of ESPN
  19. I would like to see a test like that but I don't exactly agree with the explained experiment since I think that even if it was one piece of mdf that it would snap in the same place as the piece glued together since the corner is the weakest point just my .02, maybe you have thought of that already
