    this is my answer for these: find out where your outputs for your mids and highs distort first: then find out where your sub out distorts while at 0 if they are the same leave it if one is higher than the other, adjust the sub out to match the mid and high output. that way it all distorts at the same time and you are getting the most voltage from both.

    when i was overpowering my SA's you could hear a lot of motor noise when they reached their limits. you arent going to smack the former against the back plate so you will just have to pay attention with your nose and try listening to some test tones and bring the level up with your remote gain knob and you will hear the shape of the sound change. So just learn to hear that and know the smell of coils and you should be ok. Maybe
