feathered1iron
Hey guys just had these rims for a few months now and notice a light rust looking brake dust buildup on certain spots of my rims. If I rub with soap and water it starts to come off just takes a little while. Any products you guys suggest that would be safe for the chrome? thanks! EricM9104
I've always just used soap and water for it when I wash it regularly. Foam brush saoaked in that water will usually take care of it. WIth chrome, ensure it has soft bristles that won't scratch it. You could also try a Chrome polix type product after washig it off and you may be able to brush it off with either a duster or a chamois rag 2015 Honda Civic LX 4dr | 24k miles Stock H/U and mids/highs Power Acoustik GW3-12" D2 Sub HiFonics BXX1200.1D @ 1ohm Random 2.5^3' dual ported box NVX LOC Stinger wiring throughout 1977 Chevy SWB Cammed 350 Dual exhaust Cheap Wish stereo
Broke_Audio_Addict
Works awesome and no scrubbing required. https://www.eagleone.com/chrome-wire-wheel-cleaner I'd recommend a mask and gloves when using it though. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. bsneon98
I know this is old but one of the best ways ive found to remove brake dust is with a completely dry wheel and a dry rag, just scrub the dust off and clean the wheel as usual. X2 on the 845, hands down best wax ive ever used Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/152954-1998-plymouth-neon-updates/
